I have always enjoyed coming here as the standard of food is fantastic and I like the atmosphere, but I was disappointed on this occasion as the the prices seem to have gone up. Although the food tastes fantastic, it puts a bad taste in my mouth to pay over the odds. £9.50 for the scallops starter which was 2...

My husband and I have stayed at The Crown previously and loved it so much we had to revisit again. We had a lovely standard room which had it's own outdoor space with a table and chairs. The drinks are very reasonably priced and we paid for dinner, bed & breakfast which was beautiful. Would very much recommend visiting if...

Visited this pub on a really sunny afternoon. I had the homemade sweet potato onion bhaji's as a starter and they were delicious! Fish and chips for main course, the haddock was such a generous portion. It was all lovely. Staff were very attentive despite how busy the place was. See you again soon!

First visit this year, good choice of food and drinks on the menu. Great setting for a drink on the large patio area and on a good day select your lunch and look out over the distant view. If you get the chance to take part in one of their overnight weekend stays, it is well worth the money, 2...

My relationship to The Crown goes back a long way, indeed almost to its inception. And it had played quite an important part in my life, entertain friends and family as well as being entertained there by family and friends. Over the years nothing much has changed, except of course the staff. Like policemen on the beat, they seem to...

This is definitely my favourite pub in Suffolk ! Beautifully decorated, delicious local food and Suffolk ale. Cosy in the winter and beautiful in the Summer (lovely terrace to sit outside). Highly recommend the fish and chips but there is lots to choose from on the menu - lovely meat / sides. Also the rooms are fabulous and the breakfast...

Walking into The Crown, a warm atmosphere of friendly locals and staff help you to immediately relax. After a drink at the bar, we sat down and enjoyed one of the best seafood menus in East Anglia. My wife chose the roasted plaice, whilst I went for the pan fried salmon fillet, both on suitably matching vegetables. Everything was done...
