Yes, originally B&B's came into existence by private home owners opening up rooms to make some extra cash, hence a bed and a breakfast. Hotels are there purely to make big profits with staff and extensive services. Therefore we expect our guests to respect our home and its contents rather than the abuse hotels receive whereby they have a refit now and again.
