Adorable little hotel. I keep returning here and love it more each time. Feels like being welcomed in a cosy home, from pre-digital times. Classical music in the reception area, replica's of renaissance masters on the walls. Sweet old furniture. Run by a lovely couple. Perfect location in a quiet street between trendy Ixelles and posh avenue Louise.

My aunt stayed in the Rembrandt 28 years ago, and so we chose this location - it is the same owner, but a different building! Lovely old-fashioned rooms (warning no A/C if you need it), quaint deco in the lounge, very friendly people, I would recommend it

I was desperately looking for a cheap place to stay in Brussels for one night with a private room, and this was my best option. I choose a private room with a shared toilet. The hotel felt more like a bed & breakfast, but this not a bad thing. My room felt very old, and it was a bit strange...

A place where time stood still... Once inside you are no longer able to tell whether you're in 1958 or 1972 or 2015. Adorable little hotel that probably offers the best value you can get for your money in brussels. Quirky, quiet, comfortable. Excellent central location. Nice classical music in the background, discrete owners, great breakfast. Just perfect.

This small hotel is perfect for exploring Brussels, it is in a wonderful location; quiet but central. The rooms are big - our room had a kingsize bed, desk, couch, tv and an on-suite bathroom. The stairs are quite narrow but there is a lift. I was worried that the road would be noisy at night (my husband hates road...

I was pleasantly surprised by the Residence Rembrandt. For me the location was great. I could not believe how quiet my room was as it is very close to the round about at Station Stephanie. I slept the best I had in months. I did get the suite on the top floor and there was so much more room than...

An interesting small hotel with a traditional decor. Very friendly and helpful owners providing a comfy bed, fresh orange juice at breakfast and a great ambience. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to friends in Brussels. Very steep stairs , but there is a lift to most floors. Highly recommended.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and it is always a pleasure. The hotel is well-positioned for access to the metro and only a few stops to the Eurostar terminal. Simple rooms with antique furniture. Good breakfast. The owners are very friendly and helpful and even sent my laptop charger cable to me (in the UK) after I...

I booked this hotel based on seeing previous good reviews. The hotel is quietly situated and I had the best night's sleep in a very long time. The couple were welcoming and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was fine, although not overmuch choice. The room was spartan, but clean. The plastic WC / bathroom door didn't close properly which may be...

This place can be summed up in two words :eccentrically charming. Run by a couple who inherited it from his mother, it contains a series of very different rooms, some large, some small, one a penthouse suite, but each uniquely decorated, either with original art or with completed jigsaw puxzzles of Old Masters. Breakfast is cold but nonetheless great,(excellent bread),...

“Top floor suite is great! Super quiet... and big!”

“The best room is the penthouse, which gives you a bedroom, a bathroom with a bath, and a comfortable sitting room. And still only 78 euros for a single person.”

“If you can afford above 55 euros a night, ask for a superior room: they are far more spacey. And suite 15 at the top is the best of the lot.”

“Note: The lift does not go to the top floor, so I did have to climb 1 flight of stairs with my luggage. Not a problem for me, but I pack very light!”
