If you are working in this area this is a good hotel to stay in. I can walk to my place of work the next day in a few minutes. The hotel offers good value for money at this time of year particularly. The staff remember me from previous visits.

This was not my first stay at the Hotel Catalonia in Brussels and it won't be my last. However, this time we ate our breakfast there. It isn't too far from Gare du Midi but you need local knowledge (metro line 2 or 6 to Louise, then tram 92 to Ma Campagne) brings you within 2 minutes walk of the...

The hotel is located a bit outside the city center. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Friendly staff at the reception desk and some nice restaurants around. Bufet breakfast has a fair selection of things, no warm food is available though. The only problem during my stay was parking. Upon arrival I was told that hotel parking is full...

Dear Ms. Poszewka, Thank you very much for your comment, it is very important for us in our daily effort of delivering the best service. Although we are situated not so far from the European institutions or the Grand Place, as you said Saint Gilles neighbourhood offers a great variety of restaurants and bars. Everything is pretty standard at the Catalonia. Room was clean, small, with all standard amenities, comfortable beds, TV. Check-in process is rather slow, but it´s not a big issue. The hotel is undergoing maintenance and that proved to be a very noisy experience, so I´d recommend to avoid rooms located at the front during this period.

The Catalonia is a little bit from the city centre, but right in one of the coolest and most interesting suburbs in Brussels: Saint-Gilles. The room was comfortable and cozy, although the heating seemed to be centrally controlled and was thus too hot - despite being mid-winter. This meant the room became stuffy and too warm overnight. Having said this,...

Short stay Friday and Saturday for weekend diving trip. Clean hotel with friendly staff and well located for transport. Only negatives being breakfast not served until after 07:00, we needed to get out for day by 07:00 so couldn't eat breakfast hotel; and no tea or coffee in room.

Rooms are clean and very nice . Nothing to complain . Not so fahr a way from MCE (Management Centre Europe. They can improve in hotel Long time to check in. You must pay first and then enter to room to enjoy this nice Hotel. Hotel is Long distance to city center. But I will recommend.

The room was very well-equipped and the staff also very welcoming. Smokers can stay in one of their rooms where smoking is allowed. Handy when its freezing out during the winter months. I would come back again.
