Arrived at woodlands after a drive down from Oxford. When you stop in the drive way all you can hear is the birds apart from the odd wood pecker it was silence personified. Going in we were greeted by the hostess, what a charming and delightfuly happy person who went out of her way to make our stay peacefully relaxing,...

The room was lovely, with a smashing wet room. As a disabled visitor just perfect. Delicious breakfast included in the very reasonable price. To cap it all charming hosts. The fuse from the dining room were stunning, quite literally Woodland Views, and I heard my first tourney owl for eight years, they don't have them in Malta.

Went to stay with my wife for a long weekend. A welcoming and comfortable bed and breakfast with lovely views of the forest from the patio outside our room. Aliya, who runs it, is a fantastic cook and we both thoroughly enjoyed our 'Full Englishes'. The room was large, clean and very well equipped with superb attention to detail. The...

Beautiful room, plenty of space and wonderfully clean. Cooked breakfast was available early (always a problem at most places) and up to a high standard with fresh orange juice etc. Situated midway between Blandford/Bovington/Dorchester and very easy to find.

The room was modern and the bed far more comfy than my own. The bathroom was stunning, everything so clean and homely. Just perfect!!! The short...

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay at this B & B, the host John made us very welcome he treated us like friends. We were there for a wedding and he very kindly offered to drive us to the wedding the following day, instead of paying for a taxi, which we accepted. What a great host, breakfast was lovely and...

Enjoyed our stay here; the hosts made us feel very welcome and very comfortable. The room is good & well looked after. The breakfast was excellent, couldn't fault anything about it. Could do with a more prominent sign to find it from the road.

One of the best B and B's I've stayed in. Comfortable, quiet with very friendly welcoming host's. Brilliant position (great base for visiting Dorset attractions) and in a picturesque village setting (with a great pub/restaurant). Breakfast unbeatable!! Would highly recommend it and look forward to staying here again if/when I'm next in Dorset on business
