If there is no ability to manage the hotel, pls consider to sale or let other to manage like Accors group...gorgeus asset but less manage..even the staff works with less effort..the city itself so crowded, old town actually can be pretty town if handle by the right hand..
I love this hotel, the building quality and arrangement is very good, but not well managed. The front and back yard need to be maintain. The public area in this hotel need to be spray with high pressure cleaner. The grass need to be cut. The blue carpet in front of my room is very dirty, need to be throw. Restaurant and food are considered good. I am strongly recommend to replace the hotel GM with somebody who has spirit and passion. Another option for the owner is you can work with Accor management group (M Galery) Really hope that Kresna will be improved soon.
A hotel that offers only a colonial-era nostalgia. You will be impressed when you enter the lobby of this antique hotel that was established since the Dutch colonial era in Indonesia. A grand hall with high arches and large decorative lamps. There are antique paintings on the walls, and a gamelan set (traditional Javanese music instrument) that was made in the year 1835, further enhancing the historical impression of this hotel. You will be amazed by this presentation. Regarding the experience of stay, I do not know, whether due to the covid19 lockdown since the last 6 months, the condition of the building and the surrounding environment was poorly maintained. The neglected lawn, the damp antique sofas, the dead hallway lights add to the eerie feeling. A small problem occurred at check-in, where I was told that I could only enter after 2pm since the room was still being cleaned. I was okay, until after waiting for about 1 hour, suddenly another guest who booked 4 rooms was allowed to enter right away. I made hard complaint and the reason I received is that the guest's booked room has been cleaned. To me, this treatment is like a discrimination. The hotel should be committed to the schedule for entering the room for all guest, except for serious reasons. As a result of the complaint, I was finally given a room key at 1.30pm. Room conditions and breakfast are somewhat below the standard of a 4-star hotel, especially at the high prices in the city of Wonosobo. Juice station is left empty and not refilled even though the clock is still 8 am. Dishes are variations of carbo gallore (fried rice, fried noodles, bread, pasta). The only good thing is the restaurant where the breakfast is served has a grand decoration. You will feel like have a dinner in a European palace, but not for the quality of the food. Based on my experience, I think the owner should better change the function of this hotel into an art gallery or luxury restaurant, or if they want to keep it as a hotel, it would be better if the hospitality standard training is held again to improve the quality of its services. In general, the staff are very polite and friendly, but it looks like they can't do more, maybe because the management has not been able to provide better direction, especially after the COVID-19 lockdown. Hopefully this words can be the input. …
The Hotel was easy to find, with big parking area. The hotel was old building, with big room, clean and comfort. With double window, we can enjoy the fresh and nice air from outside in the night. But we can turn on air cond if needed. There are nice swimming pool and pool table for free. The food, plenty option with great taste, and the restaurant building was still original from the beginning. Its a good option to stay if we want to explore dieng, not so cold in the night and easy to find food and others since the location is in the Wonosobo city.
Positive: friendly, helpful staff, Breakfast OK. Bus to Dieng nearby, restaurants in the neighborhood Negative: Facilities in rooms worn and not well maintained. I added photos... No WLAN in rooms. Disappointing, considering a room rate of 42EUR per night!!!
