Booked the place for 7 people, got a private unit with 2 room, girls stayed at the room and boys at sofa & extra bed. The place is cheap and sufficient. But leave a very bad taste for us because we're going for a late check-in (around 8pm) and there's no one to accept us, no front desk, no receptionist, and ignored our phone call. only after an hour then someone notice our miscall and finally come. The room is a little bit dusty, the TV didn't work, they have wi-fi but poor signal to our room. Toilet is nice, its clean and the hot water working without issue. Without the hiccups, it's actually a very enjoyable stay.

I spent one night with my wife here. Very strategic place, located near main road (intersection), and also we could go for culinary or going to Telaga Warna, Candi Arjuna, Petak Sembilan, and Kawah Sikidang by foot. The service was good and we could rent a motorcycle with half price than the others. The room is quite large and we get two thick blankets. The bathroom was standard (no shower, shampoo, soap, etc) but hot water is available. One good thing, there is free wifi here. Overall, we are satisfied and someday we will come back to this homestay again.

I have stayed in this guest house twice, last year on July 2014 and March 2015. We rented the room no 1 and no 2 in the 2nd floor, because they have view to street. The rooms are clean enough, with hot water (you need to put the water on small bucket first before taking the bath). Mr. Agus the owner was very helpful, he rented me the flaslight for sunrise trip. The price is reasonable, in room no 1 the space is enough for 4 persons (2 beds, one is additional put on the floor). No breakfast served, but you can easily find great local foods just behid the hotel, warung makan Mba Mien. Breakfast is great, as they serve freshly cooked in the morning (you may see the food in buffet style, but pay what you take only). For dinner, you may order mashroom soups or freshly cooked noodle. They both great. This is quite clean restaurant, with I believe local standard hygiene is there. Well, Dieng is the highest village in Java island, in July August will be the coldest (it may end to zero degree celcius at nights), while around march is only 15 degree celcius. If you want fresh street vendor in the morning, take a walk to big sign of Dieng, just follow the street 200 meters, at the right side of the street you will find women selling delicious local cakes. You should try hot bubur sumsum. Please consider your acceptance level on hygiene before consuming the food.

I went to Dieng in weekend after school. It was 4 hours from jogja and its quite tough to go there when get dark. No street lamp and far as well, 1 hour away from wonosobo. It was cold 10-15 degree celcius. I ve arrived at the homestay at 7 pm and it gets cold. No greeting no welcoming and they just show me the room. I was expecting a small lobby to chit chat with the owner or anybody because i d love to talked with people from different place but there s no such thing. I ve booked the room on wednesday one twin bed room for two person. And they give me one single bed room without confirming. It has also bathroom with water heater, unfortunately it wasnt shower one by the time the bucket full of water and it gets cold. We didnt get any brekfast. It very close with the main road i guess not good if you want to have relax. Because it will be crowded of bus in 4 pm or so which is horrible.
