I only tried fried rice and french fries , but the french fries is absolutely delicious. The price is reasonable. Definitely will come back if i visit dieng again. Very good service also from the staff. They serve some local drink from tea , ginger...More
Where can I start? Filthy rooms, no hot water, no towels, room was very cold, shabby sheets and blankets, one mattress on the floor (the three of us decided to sleep on the bed as no one dared to sleep on the floor).... why did...More

If you don't have the time and want to save the hassle, just ask any travel agency or hostel in Jogja to help you book the private transport service (basically its a private car that picks up max 7 passengers) for 75.000 per pax and it picks you up from the hostel and drop you in Wonosobo anywhere. Super convenient, comfortable and time saving. Especially if you have luggage this is good since public buses can get very squeezy.
From wonosobo to dieng, take a public bus but do note buses mostly only leave when it is full. I was told that prices have gone up and it's 20.000 per pax now from Wonosobo to Dieng.
