All the staff at the hotel are courteous and respond to any request
The hotel is in an excellent location facing the sea and many restaurants nearby and it is recommended to take a walk on the beach promenade.

Roy, customer relations manager, is an angel and will help you right from the order stage.
When we got to the room she made sure to send us soft treats and bathrobes.
The toiletry products are also excellent!

Definitely a hotel to return to again

Boutique hotel, good atmosphere, outstanding staff, welcoming, with a high sense of service.
Spacious rooms, full value for the price.
We will definitely come back
Visitors to the sea are also taken care of, they get umbrellas, beach chairs and towels

Disadvantage of a relatively small dining room

We visited west hotel Ashdod in November 2022. We cane for the weekend and had a very goodtime there . The room was very big with a large veranda facing the sea . The meals were excellent and very tasty and most important of all the excellent treatment of the sfaff starting with Ariel the shift manager and all the other members of the staff. There is a very good atmosphere which contributes to the success of the stay .We thank them for it .

Room Tip: There is a parking place. I recommend getting a room or a suit in higher floors.

Quality of service, amenities, facilities, cleanliness of West Ashdod are regular/average for israeli hotels standards and comparable to 2.5-3 stars hotel by USA classification. Price $310 per night with breakfast for 3 people in regular room is expensive for what you get.
PROS: Nice beach right across the street, good israeli/mediterranean breakfast . Rooms have nice ocean view. Supermarket and restaurants within walking distance.
CONS: Restaurant open for breakfast only. Very small basic dusty fitness room/gym that have space for up to 3 people at a time. Small outdoor pool was closed. There was only one TV channel in English (news) in the room. One evening there was no available spot in hotels parking and we had to park outside the hotel.

We came to stay at the West Ashdod Hotel last Saturday for one night.
The location is excellent, we didn't need the service too much so I don't have an opinion on it.
The biggest problem we experienced is with the hotel meals and there we discovered a huge disappointment,
We arrived for dinner on Friday at 19:30 (about an hour before closing the dining room) the food trays were almost empty, the selection was very poor and there was a low supply.
Furthermore, the food was not ready - the rice was hard and not ready and the potatoes were not baked enough. We left hungry from Friday dinner.
On Saturday morning the offer was also relatively scarce and quite basic.
The price you pay at this hotel is very high compared to what we got from it.
The score one refers to cost versus benefit, price, or value.

Staying 3 weeks. Exceptionally clean rooms. But the Lobby and restaurant staff in early mornings or evenings don't have much enthusiasm (often lounging on porch or playing on cell phones). But the person who I THINK is the manager I met once seems to genuinely want to help resolve issues...and there may be a few.

Don't be the first person to fill your orange juice glass off the tap at the breakfast bar, unless you need some protein in the form of a wad of fruit flies. But overall the breakfast bar has a wide selection of fresh fruit and veggies, baked goods and a daily entrée.

The in-room Kitchenettes have no napkins, plates or even plastic silverware, so bring some with you or buy at the store next door.

A bucket of ice delivered to your room costs 70 shekels, so just go down to the lobby bar and ask for a bucket and have them fill it up.

A walk across the street puts you on a long stretch of public beach with a few restaurants. A popular venue for wedding parties, so usually a photo session in the lobby every night after work.

Would I stay there again? Probably. Very similar to most hotels in the region.

Rooms are spacious with a sliding door separating bedroom and living room/kitchenette area. Microwave, mini-fridge, counter top.
Sabbath observers: mechanical keys, shabbat elevator. Only Friday night meal. No lunch so you need to arrange your own. Pool on 3rd floor is smallish for the size of the hotel

Verify/check that you are not charged VAT and that final charge/bill is correct ( applicable to all hotels).
If you want experience of israeli/middle eastern outdoor market/ bazaar/shuk, there is Shuk(market) Ashdod every Wednesday by hotel.
Enjoy and have fun in Israel.

Recommend the hotel. The view from our corner room was gorgeous-we faced the sunset. I would definitely return to this hotel. However, the restaurant disappointed us -it markets itself as a Greek restaurant, yet the restaurant is strictly kosher-which means no sea food.
