If I were to list the characteristics we would like to see in a Bed & Breakfast establishment this establishment would have them all and more. The previous night we had stayed in a very clean and adequately furnished Premier Inn hotel, with nothing to complain about. This was better in every way, and raises the bar for any notion...

We've eaten in this delightful, oak beamed Tudor house restaurant in the centre of Sandbach a couple of times and both times have been experiences that were, in essence, faultless. The food was very good from an extensive menu, the service attentive without being intrusive, and the ambience excellent. We were seated at a quiet table in the snug and...

Better than most 4 star hotels we have stayed in! Beautiful Tudor building with plenty of atmosphere. We stayed in the Garden View room which was a mini suite with luxury furnishings, a separate area for tea and coffee making and a complimentary decanter of port - a lovely touch - leading to a well appointed en suite . Beautiful...

I can not recommend this B&B enough, I feel like calling The Old Hall House a B&B is doing this superb establishment a dis-service. The winner of Channel 4's four in a bed and you can see why. From the gracious and friendly welcome from our host - nothing was too much trouble - to the facilities and rooms that...

The Old Hall, it is better than you can describe. You are welcome from the minute you arrive. The hosts only offer the best service. The period rooms are beautiful. Every aspect from the toiletries through to tea / coffee is in place. Soft white towels and crisp white sheets and anything else you need to enjoy your stay. Breakfast...

We visited the old hall for a friends wedding and also stayed the night. The wedding was beautiful and the grounds were stunning. When we checked in we were shown up to our room. The attention to detail was fab. There were chocolates, lots of complimentary toiletries, dvds, films on the tv, and lots of drinks to choose from. The...

We were in the area attending a friend's wedding a few miles away. What a gorgeous haven Simon and Gary have created. The sherry decanter in the bedroom is a little luxurious touch I won't forget in a while! Fab idea. Bed hugely comfy, shower was spot on and the room completely dark at night. Those 3 things make or...

Simon, Annette and Fred were just perfect hosts. I needed a wee bit pampering after 3 nights of glamping and my husband and I found it here. Fantastic experience that I will remember in detail for a long time. Superb. Loved the bath and the shower and the bed linen and the breakfast served by candlelight. Should have mentioned the...
