We stayed overnight as we were going to River Cottage HQ. I have to echo everything said by others on trip adviser. We had a great welcome, very comfortable room and a great breakfast. Chris was very friendly and informative. We had a trip to Lyme Regis which was well worth a visit, and just a stones throw to River...

What a great 'find' Hunterscroft, great accommodation, owners very welcoming. The views were great looking over the fields with the Geese close by and goats a little further away in the next paddock. The unusual 'Hamper' breakfast was a great surprise but we could not do it a great justice. Jugs of milk and juice, hot sausages, bread for the...

Needed a B&B for an overnight stay so glad we picked this one. Beautiful room with views of the countryside plus goats and ducks in the grounds . Everything you need and the breakfast hamper was jammed pack felt a little guilty not eating it all but there really was so much to choose from. Though the entrance is on...

Julie and Chris are a lovely couple, and we found the accommodation to be very comfortable, quiet, and very close to River Cottage HQ which was the reason for our stay. On the downside, we did really miss having WiFi, and the phone reception was terrible, making it difficult to stay in touch with loved ones from home (Australia). The...

Lovely b&b run by very a friendly helpful couple. Fantastically close to River Cottage, just a short walk to the local pub which served us a fantastic feast. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thank you Julie & Chris for helping make our weekend so special

Stayed at Hunterscroft for our wedding anniversary and I must say it was all we could have imagined. The accommodation was very clean and welcoming and the breakfast that everyone has raved about on Tripadvisor was excellent. Set in 12 acres of countryside with a fishing lake and grounds to walk in, it was just a very special stay. Thank...

We were due to stay at Hunterscroft for three nights because we were going to River Cottage. We set off this morning all excited and got stuck in the traffic jam from hell on the M4, because of an accident. In almost 3 hours we travelled about 5 miles. In the end we decided to abort the trip. We phoned...

I stayed with Julie and Chris for three nights, and I can't recommend their lovely B&B enough. A friend and I attended a cookery course at River Cottage, and enjoyed the half hour walk along the winding roads very much. The rooms are nicely decorated, and the place is surrounded by fields, and yet it's not far from the train...

We booked here for a visit to 'River Cottage' HQ restaurant for which it is very conveniently situated, a very short £7.50p taxi ride away. Also well located for the seaside town of Lyme Regis. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The accommodation is very clean and decently proportioned. With the usual tea and coffee making facilities and TV. Unfortunately,...

Warm welcome and a great night's sleep at this family run b&b. Would definitely recommend. Accomodation is clean and well furnished. Bathroom was modern, spotless and very well presented. Breakfast is brought to your room.
