A lovely place to stay and a wonderful breakfast. The hosts are really welcoming and lovely to chat too but not smothering at all. The room was idyllic and perfect for two. We stayed whilst visiting the River Cottage cookery school - perfect location.

I stayed for two nights in the Dairy Room, and chose Wyke Farm due to its proximity to River Cottage as I was attending a course there. I received a text from Kathryn confirming my room was ready before I arrived and then received a very warm welcome when I arrived. First impressions of the location were simply stunning, wonderful...

My husband and I stayed for one night in a king-size room in the Shippon accommodation. We booked the accommodation due to it's proximity to River Cottage HQ where we ate that evening. The room (which is normally part of the larger barn conversion) was very well appointed and clearly newly renovated. It was warm and cosy with spectacular views...

I stayed in the Hay Barn and from the moment I arrived felt very welcome (Kathryn left some home made cakes on the counter). The accommodation is beautifully decorated and exactly as described. A well equipped kitchen with everything you need and everywhere is spotlessly clean. Lovely bedding and towels provided. Very warm (great heating and thick walls) but also...

We stayed for two nights in the Dairy while we attended a course - and later had an evening meal - at River Cottage HQ. The weather on the evening we arrived was dark, cold and foggy, but the Dairy was very cosy and beautifully warm and bright, matched by the warm welcome given by Kathryn and John. We thoroughly...

Kathryn & John were very welcoming and friendly, the room was huge, warm, clean and comfortable (we stayed in the Dairy). Breakfast was very good although couldn't do justice to it because we had eaten at River Cottage the night before! Would highly recommend.

My sister and I stayed in the dairy (the room shown in the main picture) for an overnight stay while we did a course at River Cottage. It is spotlessly clean, a simple but elegant room with lovely ensuite. The picture doesn't show this but there is a single bed as well as the double. The beds were comfortable with...

Kathryn and John run the most friendly, clean, and spacious b&b. Modern, comfortable room (we stayed in the Apple Store), with an excellent shower (a must for me), plenty of parking, tasty English breakfast and just lovely people running it. Very close to Axminster but just outside so as to feel that you are truly in the country.

We only had time for one night away this half term and so was looking for somewhere a little special and this place really didn't disappoint. We had a stunning B&B room with fresh cakes waiting for us and they had even put out some children's books for our little one. The room was large and with three of us...
