I loved our room here.It was room 1 and clean and lots of room.We stayed twice in two weeks, going down the Wanganui River in a canoe. The kitchenette has everything you need.I also liked my milk in a nice bottle rather than those plastic throwaway things.I found it quiet too.

This property is a erase in virtually every s nose. Somewhat easy to find, clean rooms and an average bed. Our greeting was "above average". Very few restaurants in the area do we opted for the RSA just a few doors away.

Stayed here last month with a big group. Check in was pretty easy considering we were a larger group. All rooms were clean and tidy with the usual comforts. I think one room had an issue with their shower, but it was rectified soon after. It was a good central location to the main shopping area and restaurants. If visiting...

Very friendly and helpful front desk. Accommodation was old and jaded, though clean. Eating at nearby RSA was inexpensive and offered a reasonable menu selection. Unlikely we would stay again and felt we did not get good value for money.

The biggest thing for this motel is the convenience to the main street and restaurants. There were a lot of workers staying the night we did, and so we were woken pretty early with activity and vehicles leaving. The facilities were very basic and kind of out-dated. You had to use the basin sink to wash dishes. It wasn't the...

we just needed a place to stay for the night before going on the Forgotten World rail adventure trip. The motel met our needs. It was comfortable and clean. The RSA is a short walk away if you want a reasonable meal and the main street of Taumaranui a short distance the other way with a recommended (by the motelier)...

This motel is one street away from the main street and main trunk railway so that there is the noise of heavy traffic constantly. However it is very handy to good restaurants (a lovely Thai restaurant nearby) and walks to the nearby Ongarue and Whanganui Rivers. The unit is quite old but has been painted and modernised. All linens clean...

Very helpful staff - we arrived very late for a funeral the next morning, and they were happy to have after-hours check-in and also brought an iron and ironing board to the room the next morning. Also helped with arranging pick-up and delivery of a computer disk we wanted copied. Rooms basic but very clean. Spa was lovely after a...

Stayed there recently and found good a friendly welcome backed up by clean good value accommodation. Great bed slept well. TV's could be bigger but hey !! Almost next next door is RSA where you can get an excellent inexpensive meal including pizzas I have always bypassed this town pushing on to Te Kuiti but would not hesitate to stay...
