Bit of a climb up the slope to get to the hostel and sometimes can feel a little bit unsafe, I wouldn´t recommend walking it alone at night but personally I had no problems and I walked it alone sometimes during the day and with some friends at night. Staff are very friendly and my room in a shared dorm...

Don't go. On the way to Taganga we were warned by different groups not to go and that robberies happened EVERY night of the weekend. Of course we didn't listen. I was travelling with a 2 metres tall Sicilian bloke so....no one is robbing me. At the hostel (we stayed at casa de felipe - gorgeous but only so you...

Very nice hostel with clean rooms, nice beds and fans. There are plenty of spots to chill in hammocks or have a beer in the garden or roof terrace, big television room and big kitchen which is nice to cook (but you need to do grocery's in santa marta). The rooms are not expansive so good value for money. The...

A good mixture of young fun crazy travelers as well as older travelers staying here. Tips: Roosters may wake you up a little early but thats what you get...

Casa de Felipe was recommended to me a while ago prior to my travels and for a very good reason. It has excellent service in addition to its professional french chef and delicious fruit shakes, if you ever plan to get to Colombia, this place is a MUST! You get your money's worth and much more, time seems to slow...

La Casa de Felipe is a superior hostel and restaurant. Located 5 mins away from the Main Street, you will find this beautifully designed hostel. Set amongst the hills the buildings are across split levels. You feel like you have escaped and found a hidden hideaway with beautiful gardens, hammocks and great views. A main drawcard is the restaurant and...
