I think we had the best cottage as it was right in front. Nothing in front of us but the ocean. Mosquito net was large and suited us fine. We loved the open bathroom in the back. We were able to choose between two places to eat without walking more than 30 meters. The only complaint we had was they were burning trash a few times which made it impossible to even be in our room. Thank god the wind changed direction. even with that in mind, I would gladly return to this lovely little spot.

Definitely the hardest mattress I have slept on. The beds are too short for anyone above 1,80m. The staff seems a bit over-relaxed, the restaurant serves mediocre food at very high prizes. Good location near Koh Jum village.

We stayed (wife and small child) in a beachfront hut. It was clean, relatively new, and had an amazing location on the beach. Perfect. No hot water but that's no problem. The food was OK. Resort prices. You pay for the view and location.....and the sunset! You can get better food for half the price in other restaurants in the area and much better! I would advise getting a scooter so you can be mobile and see the island and visit other beaches and restaurants. The owners are very business-oriented. Not super friendly or go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

We loved our bungalow. Big, right by the ocean (even though we didn’t get a “sea view”) and very peaceful. Super basic, no hot water but electric 24/7. The bed and pillows were pretty hard and no one cleaned the room for 5 days. They changed our towels after 3 though. We had to empty and take out our own rubbish because it got full. But it’s Beach bungalow vibes not a hotel. However for £40 a night they might at least do that. The beaches on Koh Jum aren’t as nice as other parts of Thailand. Water isn’t clear and the sand isn’t white but if you’re after low key peace and quiet then it’s perfect!

mr. supercool. prices are way too high, also at the bar. gin tonic 190 baht. the bungalows are so overpriced, it is hard to say something positive about the place. pretentious owner. but it s located at a really nice place at the beach.
