Friendly is a great option for people on a budget looking to stay on Koh Jum. Me and my wife stayed for 4 nights in room 3 and loved it. Koh Jum is such a chilled out island and this place is the perfect complement to it. The site is peaceful and although the huts are fairly basic they are set in a beautiful garden and exactly what you expect from island living. The lady who runs the place is great and the staff will do anything they can to help you out, it feels like a real family business. We ate in the restaurant every morning and night but never got bored of the food. The breakfast is relatively basic but the choice of eggs, bacon, toast, fruit and pancakes is all we really wanted. Our evening meals were some of the best we have had in Thailand. Good honest Thai food with European options for those who want them. On arrival you are given a metal water bottle and free use of the refilling facilities which was a great touch considering the plastic pollution concerns of most travellers nowadays. You can also rent scooters and bicycles on-site which takes the hassle out of getting around the island. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying on Koh Jum!

Friendly is just that, super friendly. Amazing hosts, fabulous bungalow, beautiful gardens and a few minutes to the beach. With FU Bar just along the beach for an excellent evening of cocktails life couldn't get any better 😁 Friendly's restaurant definitely serves some of the best food in Thailand so 10/10 all round. Can't wait to come back

Booked in here for four days having read the somewhat out of date reviews. We endorse everything other travellers have stated. The bungalows are rustic, charming and comfortable. We love it here and the dinner we had last night was excellent. So much so, that I personally thanked the chef and shook his hand for its presentation and taste. We have been to Thailand 6 times, and the food is on par with the best. If you want to chill, relax and get away from the English winter AND Brexit, then come here. If you want loud music, a TV, newspapers and lots of bars, then don’t.

The bungalow was very clean with a good matress and mosquito net. Our bungalow was hot but the fan was quite effective. Our host was lovely and they served excellent food with many choices and reasonable prce. To the beach 300 meters and to the minimarket 400 meters. I highly recommend this place.

Friendly Koh Jum well and truly lives up to its name. The staff are so welcoming and the owner is a great host. The food at the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. The bungalows are very homely and although they only have a fan, are very comfortable but can get hot. There is plenty of wildlife around the area. We saw plenty of monkeys, monitor lizards and several birds of prey. There are also a lot of very friendly cats around the place.

Very friendly, comfortable and delicious food. Great location for the beach - easy 10 minute walk. Lady owner walked our baby to sleep while we ate; nice touch. Nice, family friendly accommodation and good location.

If you are going to Koh jum, this has to be where you stay. Glin and Jea were amazing hosts that tend to your every need. Very new and comfortable bungalows. The restaurant serves great tasting food!!

Fantastic cozy place with lovely staff. Close to beach. We rented mopeds and made our way around the island to various beaches and restaurants. The patio was perfect to sit on when we came up from the beach. If you like to run, there are nice rounds to run on.
