I cannot say enough about the fantastic hosts of the resort. There are motorbikes available on site, to rent, and it's a great location for exploring the rest of the island. (Hello trip advisor, there are over 200 characters)

We have visitied Rock View Terrace to eat in their reastaurant. They have shrip farm so food is as fresh as it could be!!! Marvelous sunset, tasty food and lovely owners! Owners are really into saving nature and ecology: they buy pregnant crabs from fisherman and let them lay eggs in their facility. Owners mission is to keep crabs population on decent level. After dinner owners let us release 2 million small crabs into ocean - we felt like we were a part of something very important. Thank you for this experience - Agata & Kacper from Poland

Nice view but unreasonable price Rock View Terrace was located at great location. Having a great astonish and unique rock view, I really enjoy and love rock scenario there. at morning, I even fall asleep at the white terrace while listen to the wave's sound, mind sea breeze and cicada. and if you'd like the beach, there're quite private beach step aways. But there're much unlike things than i like. firstly i think the price wasn't reasonable. that night i stay at hostel room 1 and it's cost 600THB. the room was on second floor, bamboo wall, sharing bathroom (with another 2 rooms upstair and tents) and nothing in the room unless 1 bed, 1 pillow, 1 fan and 1 little table. there're no even a bin or drinking water. and in case that i'm solo traveller, the room mention for 2 pax, but i got only 1 pillow, may i not satisfy on this point? i think it's un-service mind and un-ready for service thinking way of the owner. Secondly, down stair of my room is restaurant and seem to be owner rest area. so it's noisy till late night. as i assumed, nature if customers that acquire hut middle forest would like the calm? shall they MUST acknowledge this point? Thirdly, as the place fronted to west direction. so i have nowhere to stay since afternoon. all area cover with sunlight. Really uncomfortable, not relax anymore. and lastly, in the morning i found many rashes at my leg. Many bugs at night. if they prepare mosquito net and i'm still rashes, i will not complain about this, but they're not. Propose of this post is to hope improvement from Rock View Terrace. you have a great place, great material on your hand. please don't devastated it by bad management and underestimate your customers.

Very beautiful view and calm! I like it so much! If you will be in this island you need to see this place. It is not possible to swim, because everywhere are rocks. But it so nice! And romantic! And staff are very kind.

Great view, stuff does not speak English so it is hard for them to understand what client wants. Expencive place, small can of local bear cost 120. Waited food for about 30 min, tasted ok. If you wanna spend some money and get low quality, this is for you.

Probably the quietest corner of one of Thailand's quietest isles, this is a gem for those looking to get away from it all: simple but comfy bungalows, rooms and a four-bedroom house, all facing the sea, laced with waterfront terraces. The bar and restaurant serve delicious Thai food, and the owners are very helpful and friendly. Kayaks and snorkeling gear are available, and scooters for hire. There's a lovely little sand beach in the shallow, sheltered bay alongside, which also hosts the best restaurant on the island, so you're spoilt for choice here. Boats leave daily for PhiPhi and other more 'lively' islands, but if you prefer a peaceful life this is the place.

Could not had it better! Extremly kind owners who helped us with everything. Very clean room and a perfect bungalow very close to the water. Calm and beautiful place with wonderful spots to eat dinner. Tasty food (the green curry with chicken and the rooti is amazing). Funny monkeys to watch just next to the bungalow. Nice ocean but be aware of the rocks, no sandy beach but close to good beaches by motorbike. No corals in the sea so unfortunatly no good snorkling. Stay here if you can and meet this wonderful owners:)

Tong, the owner (and his wife who speaks much less English), could not have been more helpful. The also have a native islander who drives you anywhere you want to go for a low price! The accommodation is great but the food only average. However the Banyan Tree next door is very good for food. Tong also shares a fantastic, almost deserted beach with them. You can use a canoe/kayak for free or just enjoy swimming. Rock View Terrace is set in the unspoilt north of the island so if coming from Krabi or Ko Lanta, ask to be put off at Ko Pu. You won’t regret this natural Thai experience. You will see and monkeys early every morning, hermit crabs and beautiful butterflies, all as you sit on their terrace overlooking the vast sea!
