We've stayed in many wooden shack/bungalows and this was a rather fancy one! Very spacious, well decorated room and a super comfy bed (not a hard Asian one)! Food was great and the staff were really friendly. Your bungalow/shack is more a less in the jungle on the beach and you fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing. Would highly recommend staying here. Also the beach you stay on is pretty clean, whereas some of the other beaches we saw were quite the opposite, and you get to use the kayaks for free! (This may just be in low season though I'm not sure)

Ten/ten would recommend food and drinks at Jungle Hill restaurant. They have an amazing atmosphere and view of the sunset, while drinking some Singha and enjoying some good Tom Yum Koong and Gaeng Paed Gai! OBS: Went here for food and drinks with my girlfriend, we didn't stay here.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at jungle hill and even stayed longer than planned. This island has no beach parties and crazy tourist crowds what makes it the perfect place to relax and find peace. We stayed in one of te beach side bungalows and loved waking up seeing the ocean. The beds were comfortable and had mosquito nets which are necessary. Breakfast and food was very good and the Staff friendly and helpful.

We stayed for 3 days in the bungalows "up the hill about 80 steps" Good mosquito net on the bed. No change of bedding or towels and no wifi in room. Nice deck with ocean views. Enjoyed the hammock. Bars on windows to keep out the monkeys which we saw. We booked a private long tail boat tour to Ko phi phi which was great, just with a late pick up and some confusion. Hotels restaurant food and drink was good and reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly and fixed a mistake we had made with the booking. Be ready for a crazy arrival and departure as long tail boats come out to the ferry, grab you and your bags to bring you back to the beach. Same drill in reverse when you leave.

We came to Ko Jum from Ko Lanta. I am so pleased we chose Jungle Hill. The accommodation was amazing with a beautiful view of the sea. Tang and her family were the perfect hosts. The food was great and we just loved our 4 days here. I would highly recommend this resort.

Stopped off in Koh Jum after a week in Ko Lanta. Loved the opportunity to just sit and do nothing. We had a family beach front bungalow which had a hammock/chairs on the balcony as well as sun loungers on the beach below. There's a kayak you can take out with no charge. There's also a beach swing which is positioned pretty perfectly to watch the sunset. Given that the bungalow backs onto jungle there are ALOT of bugs but once you're in bed with the nets tucked in you're fairly safe. We still managed to get eaten alive walking between the bungalow and restaurant though. The monkeys also like to put in an appearance in the morning so don't leave anything out on the balcony! The bungalows are pretty basic but the beds were comfy and the shower warm. We would've preferred to have

Been there for a couple of nights, would have stayed much longer if possible. The bungalows were actually much nicer than we expected. Equipped with shower, mosquito net, wifi and a view to die for :-) Sleeping to the sound of the ocean is simply wonderfull. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant serves very good quality thai food and surprisingly good cocktails. We were lucky enough to even see a horde of wild monkeys on their early morning "food run" through the jungle over our bungalow and onto the beach.

We stayed there with 2 people for a couple of nights. The pricr is a little high for backpackers but read further. The bungalow itself was really nice made and good to look at with small 'terrace' or balcony. Some aped around. The restaurants food ist good and the view on phi phi don is just awesome. Staff nice, just a few with english skills. Free kajak rental, scooter fot around 250thb. Good serviced. Beach is just a few stairs down the hill with awesome sand without many people. Loved it completely!!

This is the fourth time we have visited Ko Jum between Krabi and Ko Lanta and we have found exactly what we have been looking for. Jungle Hill offers fantastic service from friendly staff who are always on hand to help. Food is great, location perfect and the beach front bungalows are amazing. Just booked to come back again next year; makes the trip back home today much more bearable! Thanks to Tang and all her team x
