We went to jungle hill during the busy season which is October-February. It was great! Awesome food, there was a show for the New Year, the ocean was so clean and the beaches were too. We decided to go again in July, the off season. The first week it was wonderful! We swam and had a great time at the beach. It was hot at night but that is to be expected during the wet season. Then it stormed...for three days...HARD! After the storm, there was so much garbage on the beach we couldn't swim or even play on the beach with our daughter. We ended up going to Krabi early and booking a hotel with a pool and going to Ao Nang beach. Please, go during the high season for an enjoyable time at Jungle Hill. The manager is wonderful and all the staff is great.

Very impressed with the local hospitality of the staff there. In fact I wasn't expected anything when arrived as I know this could be in the middle of nowhere and very local but the resort sent someone to pick me up on the truck at the pier. once arrived a reception girl was there to greet me with ice cold water ...after long boat ride that's all you need and the room almost all of them has great ocean view. All with balcony and hammocks ....absolutely surreal place. Like living in the middle of jungle. In the morning at your breakfast on the beach view restaurant you can look down and see troops of monkeys running along the beach but far enough to come close to the resort/you. Fantastic place will definitely go back. Good for people who love quieter life!

The location is really nice and beautifull, so is all Koh Jum. We had one of the two beach front bungalow with a fan. Its a bit hot at night, but the shower worked very well. The breakfast was okay, lunch and dinner avarage. We had a nice communication with the manager and the rest of the staff for 1 1/2 day out of 3. The bungalow was very dirty but big. A lot of ants. Go eat at the resorts down the beach, better food and not overpriced. Snorkling is very good at Aiosa Resort at the end of the beach. Minimarket just up the hill and go left. Warming! Dont question anything about the service, the room or food, just accept bad service and if your bill is not correct!! They get very mad and unkind!! We heard of many who had these kinds of problems and read reviews about bad

The "sea view" bungalows were closer to the main road in Koh Jum then the ocean. And the view was another bungalow, definitely not the sea. We did not hear the waves of the ocean at night, rather the delightfully charming whirr of motorcycles. The trek to get from the ocean to your room will leave you quite winded, as your are scaling up the side of a steep mountain (they do have stairs but still.) Depending on where you are staying it could be a good 15 minute trek from the ocean to your bungalow. The rooms were nice and the food was good, though a bit expensive for Koh Jum. The beach was nothing to write home about. There are many other nice places to stay on Koh Jum, I would stay at one of them, for example Peace Paradise (If you want relaxation without many people

We stayed here for two nights before we headed off to nearby Koh Lanta (with the help of the staff organising a boat etc) The place is ideal for lazing around with an expansive beach and a restaurant overlooking Phi Phi island. The small town is worth exploring too for an insight into some traditional living. The bungalow we stayed in was quaint, clean, and equipped with a bathroom. Staff were helpful and more than happy to help you out with your requests, activities, etc, lovely place!

We just love this place, the island is quiet but with everything that you need. Jungle Hill is a lovely resort, we stayed here two years ago so it was lovely to be back. Tang and the team are very helpful and the food is great! We had a better room this time over looking the sea. Very comfortable and quiet. We can't recommend this resort highly enough...we will be back again!!!

I recently spent 3 months on Koh Jum, and Jungle Hill Bungalows and Restaurant was one of my favorite places. I actually did NOT stay in the bungalows, but that was because I had already booked my stay before arriving. Had I known about Jungle Hill, I would have booked there. The managers of the property are SUPER friendly and nice. Very helpful. The restaurant has excellent food, a fun tree-house-like location overlooking the beach, and fast WIFI. They rent motorbikes (which I did several times) and also arrange tours/island hopping, which I also did. Highly recommend using Jungle Hill!!

Thank you to Tang, all the family and staff who made our stay (13 nights) so wonderful. The service with a smile was present every day. Our bungalow with a large terrace had fantastic views over the sea and to the Phi Phi Islands. It was cleaned every second day and towels were replaced. A wonderful place to stay, the beach was very private and even though it was peak season, we were often alone on the beach. At low tide walk a little further to the right to swim. If you are lucky you will see Monkeys on the beach or around the bungalows - just DONT feed them!! It is easy to walk into Baan Ting Rai the local village and to Long beach. We hope to be back again!!!

Never again I want to make such experiences in my vacation ! I find no words when I think about it . From an unwanted boat tour , a 12 -hour horror trip in wind strength was 8. I was afraid for my life . An ancient longtail without light equipment and ancient lifejackets , according to then agonizing engine almost cracked and let the people scream. There was neither an apology for this act on the part of the jungle hill line , yet understanding for us . The mobile phone of my friend became unusable boat by the incoming moisture in , underlay etc. were unusable. With a smile, was demanded by the owner of the sold for this trip . when I refused, they threatened her brother . They swore at us and advised us to leave the resort immediately , we are no longer desired .I can only
