Friendly staff and a great location. Don't expect any action here but it is a spectacular place to unwind and relax. Bungalows are spacious and comfortable. With residential monkeys to keep you on your toes. Hammocks on every balcony are a nice touch. Book direct for the best price.

I stayed in Jungle Hill with my child in 2014 and we entirely enjoyed both the quiet island and the bungalow. The property has different bungalows but we stayed in one of a very simple kind, and we were absolutely satisfied. The cold water shower was fully alright in the hot climate, and the semi-western style toilet was alright too. Differently from a number of other bungalows, Jungle Hill had electricity around the clock, so no problem to charge the mobile, laptop or camera. The place is for you if you can accept wildlife both around and in your bungalow. If you look carefully, you may see wild monkeys hopping in the jungle. And even without looking at all, you may find lizards in the bathroom or spiders in the room. For us this was not a problem, and I am currently planning

Stayed here for a week at end of green season (last half sept). They organised a transfer from Krabi airport which was very smooth (its about 30 minutes to the pier, 30 minute crossing, about 10 minutes in a tuktuk to the place and a 5 minute walk from the road) Its basic but the location is amazing. You are right on the beach. Rooms have hot shower and fan but no cupboards or drawers so its difficult to store your clothes. There's free wifi which worked most of the time. You can see Phi Phi from here. You can organise a boat trip around Koh Jum or to Phi Phi (much cheaper from Koh Lanta though) and hire a scooter. Food in the 'restaurant' is good - in low season best to order in the afternoon so they can go shopping for the ingredients. Tang the owner speaks decent English but

We stayed here with my friends this July. It was very pleasant stay, full of experience. Owners of this resort are so nice and helpfull. We were lucky and group of monkeys welcomed us first day. There is nice walk around the island and people are fantastic, they are smiling all the time. Not like the Koh Samui or Krabi. You can still feel different atmosphere. I really recommend it.

I really loved how calm and relaxing the place was - nothing but the jungle and the ocean. I was a little disappointed by the bungalows, though. I wasn't expecting much, it is nice to stay in a really basic place so close to the nature - but at least the mosquito net should be replaced once in a while because it had holes in it and there should be no stains on the bedclothes... Also it would be nice if the fan was more efficient because it was really hot at night. The food and drinks were tasty but a little overpriced (especially breakfasts - it is much better to eat at Hong Yok at the back of the resort). I loved the watermelon juice though :) Overall, I would recommend Jungle Hill for those who like hearing the ocean and jungle at night. If only the owners would make a little

We only went there to eat (Dinner and breakfast) while we stayed at the horrible sun smile beach bungalows. The food was delicious and the staff super nice. We got to use their WiFi and the meals there were tasty! Eating at Jungle Hill was such a relief after our experience at sun smile and we loved it! Thanks a lot to the staff at Jungle Hill! :)

We have just spent 1 month at Jungle Hill. What an awesome family. They are extremely helpful and the nicest people. They made us feel like family. Tang is amazing and will try and sort out anything you could possibly need. The Island is very quiet, if you are looking for entertainment, shopping and 5 start luxury, this is not for you. If you are squeamish for bugs (the bungalows are in the jungle) this is not for you. If you are looking for genuine Thai hospitality, tasty food, an entire stretch of beach to yourself (most of the time), pure relaxation, some good fishing, natural paradise, the best honey lemon lassi, a loving family, this is most definitely for you. Please note there are rather steep stairs that need to be climbed on a daily basis - if you have any

We stayed three nights in Jungle Hill in a sea view Bungalow for 1500 THB the night. It was totally fine for our expections because it was a cozy bed and a hot shower in the bathroom...and the view was great, overall when lying in the hammock listening to the waves!!!! We had two visits from cockroaches what wasn't very nice but you live in nature...and when you check your mosquito net well you won't be surprised in the night! Nevertheless the room could be cleaned more often while staying, you have to ask for it! I think in a nature settled resort they should take more attention to cleaning than in others cause of all the animals around. But that was just a little thing. The staff is really friendly and organized everything for the customers!!! They help where they can!! The

Exceptionally cheap and wonderful experience from this small family run business. Located on the largely untouched and remote island of ko Jum. The beaches are extremely clean and the locals are both warm and welcoming. A short 1000 baht ferry journey from krabi to ko Jum is the recommended route to the island. Where the ferry stops in sea and you hop on to the jungle hill long boat to be dropped off directly outside the bungalows. Granted if you have large suitcases and child this may be slightly stressful. Also consider the bungalows are located on a hillside with steep stairs to both the beach and restaurant. The restaurant served some of the best food I experience on my travels in Thailand and at a very reasonable price. Served by very friendly staff. Lots of activities

We didn't enjoy it as much as many people seemed to. The room is very basic which is ok but as the wood in the walls and floor is not sealed you have all sorts of creepy crawlies climbing through the cracks. There is a mosquito net provided but ours had a lot of holes in it so we did find all sorts in our bed at night. Either way you definitely need some strong insect repellent. It is quiet though and we didn't mind the sound of the jungle at night or the waves crashing on the beach. We were lucky enough to see monkeys on our first night which was fun. We had a partial view of the sea which made for good sunsets. We found the food a little bit hit and miss. Some meals were good but others disappointing. Some other reviewers have mentioned cost and I do think that the room and
