We probably are the only tourists supporting locals on the island during this very difficult Covid time. Everything is closed and I am sure this place haven't seen any customer in 10 months and won't for another ten. My boyfriend (Thai) is friends with one of them. Though the owner charged us THB 140 for a big Chang whereas we are paying +/- THB 90 for a Singha at all other places like Lipe, Mook, Lanta etc. We are visiting during our two months trip. I am very angry right now. Maybe cause I am farang and she thinks that she can just get from us... Might she be happy with it... It won't pay her during this difficult time.

The Restaurant is great. open all year, so it's a lifesaver in low season. not all the food is available then but still a good choice of different thai food for reasonable prices Yai is a very friendly and forthcoming owner and also gives great thai massages.

We stayed here 3 years ago and have been keen to return ever since. Yai and her family make you feel like you are on a home stay. They are kind hosts who make you feel very welcome. The food is amazing especially the Green Curry with chicken - ask Mat to cook it for you! It’s the best we’ve ever had! Kip really made our stay special though. He became a good friend. He’s always happy and chatting and makes sure you have everything. The location has moved to the other end of the beach next to the road so it’s a little bit noisier, but the new bungalows are huge and bright. There’s only 2 at the moment but Mat is about to build a couple more in the low season. The road to Koh Jum has now been concreted making it easy to get around the island on a rental scooter. Ao Luboa beach, Koh Pu is beautiful and clear for swimming at high tide. It’s still a quiet, unspoiled beach, let’s hope it stays that way.

A simple but clean bamboo bungalow on the beach front, it was wonderful to hear the sea at night as we were going to sleep and waking up to wonderful sea views each morning. We had lunch each day at peace paradise and the food was always extremely tasty. We especially enjoyed the Pad Thai. The owners were always helpful and friendly and often went out of their way to meet our needs. We thought the position of the hut was one of the best on the beach and would be more than happy to return. We have visited ko pu many times and this was our first stay at Peace Paradise. Peace Paradise has recently moved to the opposite end of the bay (it used to be the last resort on the beach but now is the first) we will be back. We had electricity day and night. The wi fi was hit and miss.

Paradise....I think I´m stupid telling people how great it is, because more tourists will probably, in time, ruin it. But we were there for a few days in April 2016, and it was hard to leave. Definitely no luxuries, very basic....but that´s what you come for , right ? Yai is a real sweatheart, a fine cook, and the whole atmosphere is very chilled out, very quiet. Wild monkeys, great snorkeling, cold beer, good food. Peace paradise !

Yai, I'm sorry my review took so long to write. Thank you again for being a wonderful hostess and providing this amazing heavenly spot to hide away at. We arrived by longtail after taking the ferry from Krabi. DO NOT book the ferry back as someone has to arrange the pick up from the resort. Let Yai do this. Make plans with her via email (she returns her emails quickly) on how you will get there and back to your origin. Do not book a return ferry pass though no matter what they tell you to do at the terminal. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The bungalow was right on the beach (gorgeous beach). Just a bed and a bathroom. The basics. It was clean and that was all that mattered. If you like camping, you'll love it. We wanted to experience something different for a night or two. No hot water and no electricity after 8 pm. Perfect. It's very quiet. The center of the resort is a bar/tables for eating, hammocks, lots of books for reading. We met a few other people travelling alone and we ended playing a game of charades in the evening with them. Very casual and relaxing. I read a book one whole day in a hammock and drank Yai's famous smoothies. Her cooking, OMGD, soooo good! We actually did alot of nothing but relaxing, talking to the other guests. I'll attach pictures, but you have to imagine the show Lost with this wonderful host (and her hubby) and go if you want to be away from tourists. In my opinion, she could charge a whole lot more for these places - they are far from luxurious - but the experience is priceless. Thanks again Yai. We will be back! Debbie & Wayne. ps- love the sound of the monkeys during the night!

Peace Paradise is exactly what this place is. The staff have treated us as family and Yai is the best chef on the island. I would highly recommend the squid! Fin is an exceptional long-tail boat captain that you can charter for day trips. Matt and Nit are more then happy to start up a beachfront fire at your request. The electricity is only on between 6:00pm and midnight, or on the occasion they do laundry. Which has made reading, snorkeling, painting, writing and relaxing all the more pleasant during the day. The accommodations are clean and very simple: a bed, pillows, fan, mosquito net, toilet and shower. Just make sure you close your door during the day or the long tailed macaques may rummage through your belongings. The internet is hit or miss, I would bring your own wifi or 3G. The beach is excellent, quite a lot of wildlife: huge hermit crabs, sand crabs, swallows, herons, beautiful shells (one's that you'd mostly find in a store, washed up daily) and tidal pools with pistol shrimp accompanied by their gobies. And very few people! Almost every night we were able to swim in bioluminescent plankton. The snorkeling is good, quite a lot of healthy looking biodiverse coral with all kinds of marine life from mantis shrimp, groupers, clownfish, stingrays, parrotfish, butterflyfish, yellow spotted boxfish to the pufferfish that was almost 4 feet long! However the visibility is not good. It’s hard to describe how much of a paradise this is, you will have to come see for yourself!

This place is amazing-so quiet and peaceful. Yai and Mat + team are so friendly. Yai's cooking is great especially the evening fresh fish mat brings in daily. If you don't mind living basically(no elec between 12am-5pm) this place has all you need to keep you occupied anyway. I made a fishing rod and took out the resort kayak and snorkel with no luck even though mat gave me some bait. Not really a kids place but come here if you want complete R&R and don't mind basic accommodation.
