The location of the restaurant is top - at the southwest corner of Koh Jum. The service is very prompt and good. The menu varies from local thai food up to Burger etc. We tried the fried chicken with a red curry and a phad thai with chicken. Both meals have been very good, but still missing some percent to reach 5 points.
We stayed at a great fan bungalow right on the Beach with a wonderful view to the sun setting behind Phi Phi Islands - the place has an extremely helpful staff and the bungalows are spotless cleaned every Day. We stayed for a week - went to Khao Lak to dive, but loved Freedom so much we decided to returnere for an additional five nights. Beach is very Nice, with a few rocks - restaurant is average and slightly expensive, but there are other options at the Beach or in the nearby village. But the massages are great! High recommandations from me for Thise WHO Arek pence and quiet as there is no nightlife or any traditional touristic turmoil - Would love to come back!
Huge bungalows just a few steps from the beach. Every bungalow has a nice beach view. Restaurant is ok but better options on the island. Motorbike for hire at the resort and so no problem to get to the small village. Some other resorts are in walking distance at the beach. The beach is very good for swimming the whole day.
We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. We had a family bungalow at the end of the beach only 10meters away from the sea. The room was simple but clean and nice and the staff were friendly and helpful but spoke basic English. The food at the restaurant was reasonable and good but the best thing about this place is the location and the views around the island. Ko Jump is very much a quiet and peaceful island with not much to do especially at night. So bring some cards and books to read. The WIFI was ok ...but weak as we where at the end of the beach. Overall a good location with great views, simple but clean bungalows and the food was good. I'll come back again
The accomodation was simple if you compare what you pay for. We paid 2800 BHT = SEK 700 a night for a bungalow with seaview. First pucture is taken from our veranda. Magic! But not enough... The bed was to hard, water was just included the first day (not every day as we are used to), only cold water in the shower and the restaurant is more expensive than others. It's a fan in the room (no AC) and limited space to put your clothes. We didn't unpack. Week wifi in the restaurant. We had paid for seven nights but left after three. Left to a much cheaper hotel, but with better facilities. A great view is not enough for us.
If you like a really calm resort placed on a beach. Beautiful an simple bungalows very close to the nature. The resort is situated at the very end of a 4 km long beach and the restaurant is placed on the beach close to the water. The staff is very friendly and really try their best to give the guests a nice stay. We spent a week in a beautiful and very special treehouse that we thought was the best way to spend a week on a small, calm and beautiful island. But you need to accept windows without glass and shower without hot water. There are rooms with other standard. The beach is perfect for a morning run and there are 7 or eight other resorts on the beach that you can visit for lunch or dinner. There isn’t very much to see on Koh Jum but there are two small villages with small shops and a couple of small restaurants to visit. If you rent a motorbike you can go to the other side of the beach and visit another beach that also have a few resorts. This is a calm island that we will return to.…
We spend a few days with our 3 kids at this very relaxed bungalow resort. The bungalows are very basic, but right on the beach and with amazing views. The atmosphere is very chill with not that many people and a great beach. No pool, but the beach covers up largely. The restaurant is good and with fair prices and good service. The staff was very friendly. There’s a ping pong table and a swing and the kids enjoy themselves fine. Also good for parents as you have the kids close by at all times. The resort is located on a south west coastal tip so you have the most beautiful sunset and can be seen from everywhere. They offer long tail boat transfer to reach larger ferries so transport is pretty easy. It has really been a good stay here and I would strongly recommend this beautiful and low key place. …
This place is amazing!!! We stayed there in the Beachfront hut, which was really nice cottage right on the empty beach, just few steps from the sea. You can watch the sunset while sitting on your terrace... just amazing! The restaurant was good - great food and drinks (bit more expensive than in the village, which is 15 minutes walk away, but worth it). They organised for us great trip to 4 islands with snorkeling (1000 tbh per person) and we loved it!!!! Really amazing peaceful place with very few people around! I would definitely recommend it to all my friends!
We stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. The huts are just few meters away from the sea, practically on the beach, with amazing view. The bed with mosquito net was hard and very comfortable. There was enough space for our stuff either. The bathroom was simple with toilet and a shower that looked like anywehere else in Thailand. There was also lovely terrace attached to our hut. Even though there were other people we felt like we were alone, we barely saw people at the beach or near by our hut. I was very afraid of the insect that might be in the hut, but we only saw few mosquitos and once we found frog in our bathroom. That was it. Stuff was nice although they could speak a little more english. Food at the resort was more expensive than in the rest of Thailand (about 120 bhat per meal), but it tasted very good. For all 4 days we felt like we were in paradise.…
The "resort" itself is just amazing. Providing almost any service u can imagine, offering some great and cosy cottages. The beach belonging to the hotel is very calm, u will easily find yourself alone sunbathing or taking a dip. Do not expect the shallows around the beach any interesting for snorkeling though. Beside the fact that the beach is almost emplty almost all the time you can swimm all day long (in certain parts) as there still are some basins remaining while the tide is low. The hotel kitchen is pretty good (but pricier and not as authentic as the dishes u can get in the village nearby). Just to mention some tiny problems, be careful while organizing a taxi anywhere. Our friends were leaving one day before us and got it (from the reception) for 70 THB. We were offered the same distance (and did not feel like bargaining the price at the hotel desk) for 100 THB. At the end of the day, the driver made us pay 200 THB.…
