The guest house closed in Covid and the bungalows have all been demolished. The jungle is quickly reclaiming the space-I had assumed the resort that had been there had been gone for years. The previous owners (though not the notorious Scandinavian barman!) Lom and her husband now run Good Morning bungalows at the top of the steps, which is great. Hopefully someone will resurrect this site at some point, but for now the only ones staying here are the monkeys.

I spent a wonderful three days with my husband. the island has its charm: few tourists, quiet and peaceful. we visited the whole island but really at Loma Sea View was the most beautiful beach, the best food and great people. we also checked a few places to sleep but our bungalow was the most climatically with sea view. Everyone should consider the conditions generally prevail in the bungalow, but in my opinion no 5 star hotel can replace Loma Sea View. I recommend this place to sleep and as restaurants - every meal was delicious! And it was possible to get meals in vegetarian version. I regret that we tried other restaurants, because nowhere was that kind of food. We also rent a scooter there. Thank you Loma Sea View very much for the warm, kind and professional service!

Lovely location on long beach Koh Jum Check in was okay, staff nice and friendly, never anyone in the restaurant though so we went next door for breakfast (sea smile, or something similar) We did however eat at “same same loma bar which is a bit further alone the beach but the food was nice and the bar had a nice atmosphere. Huts were located on the beach with nice views, nice clean bedding comfortable beds too! Very chilled place. Got 2 towels and 2 bottles of water when I arrived, and there are a few toiletries in the room, but had no room service for 3 days. WiFi is very temperamental and slow did not reach to my bungalow. During my stay (04/19) we had a lovely time, we were a little confused as to why we had to pay 100 Baht to get a taxi back to the pier when it only cost 50 Baht to get there......but that’s Thailand for you ! I would stay here again :-)…

We spend there 4 days with girlfriend and NO sign of 'Daniel the Scandinavian' (or any other non-native employee). I assume he was fired at some point :) Couple of bungalows located in the first line from the sea beach under the trees (shade!). There's one 'double' bangalow (with 2 double rooms) so please be aware that if you book 'Double room' it could be it :) We stayed in one of those and it was pretty nice. In my opinion you don't need AC in this kind of bangalow as the temperature goes down instantly after the sunset (unlike the buildings in Thai cities that I was in). Additionally there's Loma beach bar ~150 m away from the bungalows and the restaurant (food was nice). I stayed long one evening and it turns out they have a guitar and a drum so I was witnessing their music evening even though I was one of only two customers in the bar. I really enjoyed fishing trip with Tuna (the owner) - it was extremely relaxing to go around the island at the dawn. I heard that the owner is investing in another boat to offer pick up from the ferry (in Dec 2018 you still need to jump on 3rd party longtail boat). It's possible to rent nice new 125cc Yamaha bike at the place. WiFi is there - in the restaurant and in the bar but not in the bungalows. No mobile data access, at least not with my True Move SIM Thai sim card (turns out it was a good thing for relaxation, at least for me). Mobile data access works in the village without a problem. When we was there there was a masseur lady at the property in 1 of 2 places available for the guests daily. I noticed beach area for the children just outside the restaurant.…

Koh Jum was the real island experience we were hoping for going to Thailand. Small, remote island with only a handful of bungalow resorts. Loma was very basic, but that's the point! The bungalows were all built by hand. Quiet beach, beautiful views with Koh Phi Phi in the distance. Tuna and Lod were great hosts. Don't expect much for housekeeping. Make sure you walk up the beach 2 minutes to Same Same Loma Bar for happy hour!

We had a lovely few days at Loma. Lott, the owner/ manager is really kind and helpful. The bungalows are clean and located on the edge of the jungle overlooking the beach. Nature is literally on your doorstep. The restaurant is very good. Would definitely stay again.

we booked for 6 days, but after 2 days they said they have another booking so they said we had to leave. maybe the other booking paid more, but this is no good behavior for a hotel. i would not advise to go there, there are much better options.

We stayed a couple of nights beginning of 2016 at the Loma Sea View. The resort is nice, affordable for accomodation and very quiet. Basic rooms with a decent bed and a simple bathroom are good for a stay. The host and his wife are very nice people. Absolutely helpful and are looking for each guest being happy in their place. It is a family business and they put their complete heart and soul into this. They seemed to have an issue with a scandinavian employee they hired for helping them run their business. We have informed them about how we also felt tricked and that according to the reviews here we are not the first ones. As they were not aware of the reviews (the guy was doing this for them), they have been surprised, but they said they will look deeper into it. Looking at the recent reviews, it seems like they got rid of him. As said, they really want to give everyone a good time there! I highly recommend this place for staying a while. Food is good in general, though also the other resorts are offering a bit nicer or more romantic seating.…

This area is not tainted by the tourist industry so it is perfect for couples or families looking for some quality time. Quality of the beach is wonderful! You can rent beach activities from the bar. Our bungalow was at the top of the 187 stairs. At first it seems daunting but the view from our room was wonderful and it kept us active. The room is simple and WIFI was spotty in the room but fine at the bar or the restaurant. Food was incredible! The owner arranged for us to have a private boat trip fishing, Phi Phi Islands, and then drop off at another island. The family that owns this resort is wonderful! The Scandinavian bartender is super nice and friendly and very helpful! My only word of advice is to keep track of your bill at the bar and check the prices on the menu. We were overcharged by him the first time at the bar. We believe it to be intentional as it was attempted each time we ordered.…

Stayed here for 33 nights and loved it. We stayed in one of the bungalows facing the ocean at the top of the hill. (180 stairs to the beach - great for fitness!) The top bungalows and the bungalows on the beach are run by different people so ignore the bad reviews as they are the beach ones. The staff are fantastic and the food was great (some of the best on the island). Ron, the front man, will even teach you some Thai! Overall we highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back. I think they are changing names to 'good morning bungalows'
