Pros:- 1. Unique and amazing location on Ranikhet Road with a forest feel. 2. Inside the resort lots of greenery is there with many old tall trees and mango orchard. 3. Serve only veg food but the same is very good. 4. Pet friendly with two in-house lovely canine staff in Sufi and Coffee who can accompany you anywhere u like, even to the river walk. 5. Room was spacious and comfortable. 6. Walk to the river and bridge is very refreshing. 7. Staff is generally very gud and helpful especially the restaurant staff. Cons:- 1. Despite the rich flora, I could hardly see any birds which may be due to the use of almost 24*7 crackers to remove monkeys from Mango trees at the time of our visit. 2. Property is quite old and demands renovation at few places. 3. Road slightly bad at few locations after Dhikuli and may be difficult to traverse in Monsoons. 4. This hotel is in a remote location. Mobile reception is patchy (Jio data works as you move towards the river side of the resort). Airtel did not for us). Wifi barely works. And, that's it. That being said, this is one of the most beautiful places around especially the attention to detail. I personally like properties which are well maintained in detail. Examples - sustainable ethnic plates, glasses and cutlery. AC plastic covers replaced by custom wooden ones to merge with the decor. Mango orchards. This place is a miniature botanical garden. For social media aficionados, you will have ample areas to shoot your beautiful videos. The staff is awesome. Very polite and professional. Super service. This is not place to go crazy partying with loud music, drinks and gluttony. This is a place you go to find the beauty in life. …

Terrible, no WiFi, awful location. Never ever going back. So expensive for what it was. Those pictures don’t do it justice. Came all the way from UK, terrible terrible hotel. No WiFi in the rooms in 2023 is crazy. WiFi in reception is awful. Hotel is a million miles from anything too. Please don’t go here

We are known for our top-notch services and hospitality; however, we regret that we were not able to achieve the same with you. We are located in remote location of Jim corbett national park in reserve forest land and mobile & internet connectivity is minimal due to the same. This was even informed to your family at the time of booking however, you being football enthusiast we understand that you clearly were upset with no Wi-Fi in the room. We did arrange for football screening at our Cafe specially for your family and have received even five-star review from your family members for our service. Here's the review from your family for your reference: "Great experience, stayed at the hotel recently with my family. Wonderful location, away from the hustle bustle of the city, in the heart of nature. Great service and hospitality by the staff and especially Gurbaksh who’d been very helpful in accommodating all our requests with full sincerity throughout our stay. AMAZING!!!! The resort welcomed my baby Max the golden retriever with such love and care and us too! I didn’t have any complaints or issue even for a single minute. The rooms view restaurants food the whole surroundings play area everything u name it and it was up to mark Good hygiene and cleanliness is maintained by well behaved friendly staff. The entire staff we met were very friendly and also the manager. We had such a nice time and made more beautiful memories. My golden retriever also had very good and welcoming host cum friends sufi and coffee were the cherry on top. The swimming pool and the small infinity pool were also well kept and other play areas were also very nice. The food was fresh tasty yummy and also of good quality. Thank you so much The Den corbett resort and the entire staff. We look forward to coming back there again with more time in our hands. 100/100 in all means to you guys. …

Den is a beautiful property but so are the other ones in same area. I selected this property for my destination wedding since this property was close to our hearts but the service and the staff are horrible. They have weird rules around. There was no music during my wedding and the reason they gave was that we were late. The whole wedding was dull and chaotic. The dinner was so bad that every guest complained. The serving was laid back. Imagine no music at the wedding. I cried in front of the manager - Gurbaksh but that person has no manners or heart. They didn’t even said a single sorry even after I shared my review with them. For them, it’s all money. They are least bothered about the fact that it is your wedding. The only resort I have seen where you don’t even get tea/coffee with your lunch/dinner. You literally have to pay extra for every single thing. They ruined my wedding and have no courtesy to even reply. Please spare your money and save your special day and don’t come to this place. No one there cares or understands what a wedding means to a person. Also, there is literally no network available at that place and they have no Wi-Fi and this was not informed to us in advance. You guys ruined the most important day of my life! Shame on you and every member of that staff group.…

Dear Ms. Aggarwal Thank you for your valuable feedback, also thank you for acknowledging that the location is beautiful of the resort. We understand that you are upset that the music was not permitted during your wedding, food was not up to the quality as expected by you and service was dull. We empathise with you, however The Den Corbett team did our best to accommodate all your requests but unfortunately we were unable to meet your expectations. We as team would like to apologise for the inconvenience this must have caused you. We would like to highlight few points which were raised by The Den team even during the wedding as well and due to which your expectations were not met. 1. Wedding itinerary was shared with you and same was discussed between you & the team. On the day 1 of the wedding day guests arrived late, arrival time was 11am but guests arrived around 3-3.30 pm. Lunch was supposed to start by 1pm but due to late arrival lunch started only by 3.30pm & it went on till 6.30pm. We understand that due to long travel from Delhi your function was delayed & we made adjustments accordingly. 2. Day 1 Cocktail party & Dinner function with DJ was booked from 7pm to 9 pm however on arrival post discussion with Mr. Gurbaksh cocktail party was moved to 8pm – 10pm as we can not play DJ beyond 10pm, same was discussed & was several times informed to you, we are located in the jungle and due to silent zone policy of the jungle any music is not permitted post 10pm. However, you (bride) & groom had not arrived till 10pm and when we approached you at 10PM to close the music, you requested Mr. Gurbaksh to allow to play it till 10.30pm & we accepted the request. Soft music was played till 10.45pm for your & groom’s entry. Dinner timings were revised as 9pm to 11pm however dinner was also served till 12am due to delay. 3. Day 2 engagement function & lunch was supposed to start by 2pm & we were ready by 1.45pm however we were informed by you at 2pm that we cannot start until you arrive for the function and you only arrived at 4pm. Other wedding guests were approaching the buffet counters and several times asked if they can start lunch however as per your instructions, we had to say no to all the guests & this was making guests upset & this was even embarrassing for us. Few guests requested and ordered for room service as they were hungry. Even after your arrival guest did not eat lunch as engagement and cake cutting ceremony was going on. Our lunch counters were open till 6.30pm. Please note that the reason wedding itinerary & buffet meals timings are discussed prior as food if kept outside for long hours in buffet the freshness and taste of the food gets impacted. We were not advised to change the buffet timings in advance & this may have impacted the taste and texture of few of the buffet items. Also, whole day during ceremony music was played & we never denied playing music during day time during any of the functions. 4. Day 2 Mehndi function & Dinner was scheduled for 8pm to 10pm however again the function was delayed & mehndi artists which were organised and booked by you refused to come to the resort as they were from Ramnagar which is 25kms approx 1 hour away from resort. They refused to come as till 10pm function had not started, Mr. Gurbaksh was informed at 10pm to arrange for a pickup for them without any prior intimation, he agreed but no confirmation was received from your end again & all the coordination of event was only handled by you we could not proceed. Later we were informed that Mehndi artists pickup was arranged and they arrived at resort by 11.30pm till then function had not started. Now mehndi function & dinner were going on simultaneously. The projector which was booked to play video memory of bride & groom during mehndi function was now used by guests to play movie and music till 12.30am. As we follow and respect the Corbett national park rules & regulations and never permit to play music till late hours, we had to forcefully shut down the same at 12.30am, mehndi function continued till 2am and dinner was served till 11.30pm. 5. Day 3 Haldi function was scheduled for 10am & lunch to be served between 1pm to 3pm, however haldi function started late at 4.30pm & lunch on day 3 as well was served from 1.30pm till 4.30pm. 6. Baarat entry was scheduled by 8pm and this was delayed as well & Mr. Gurbaksh reminded you several times on the day that post 10pm DJ music or Dhol music will not be permitted, however by 11.10pm baarat entered without groom & they started playing Dhol music, we requested not to play loud music & still permitted to play soft dhol music bypassing the law. Groom only joined baarat at ribbon cutting ceremony at 11.30pm & soft music was permitted for groom entry. Your (Bride) entry happened at 12am & on request bypassing the law soft music was played & permitted too. We tried everything possible to make things right on your wedding day. 7. Wedding Pheras were planned for 12am to 1am but they were delayed too till 4am & even though midnight tea service was supposed to be available only till 2am, we served the same till 4am. 8. Day 4 breakfast & check outs were delayed as well. 9. We are in the hospitality business since 1989 & we are one of the very first resort of Jim Corbett national park & have hosted several weddings & guests on the resort grounds. In 34 years of service, you are our first wedding guest to whom even after every extra effort from every team member, it is unfortunate that we were unable to make you happy. We understand that in a wedding delay happens and we are extremely accommodative of the same & we did the same for your wedding as well, even after unimaginable amount of delay in all your functions, we were happily serving with a smile. Mr. Gurbaksh on the day of check out even came to speak to you but you refused to meet him or discuss your feedback. 10. You & your brother were the only contact person appointed by you for any wedding discussions however during the wedding when we tried to connect with your brother, he was guiding us to you & he waited for your approval for everything. You being the bride were busy in the wedding functions & getting ready for the functions, making it extremely difficult for us to reach you for any discussions on functions being delayed or to discuss change of event timings. We even helped you settle the stay issue with makeup artists and accommodated them last minute at resort. Resort coordination, décor team, makeup artists, mehndi artists, photographers all were only coordinating with you. You were all the time stressed during the wedding as entire wedding arrangements & coordination part was handled by only you. 11. At the time of check out our team spoke to several of the guests & requested them for the review, they gave verbal reviews to the team that they liked all the services, food as well and were happy with the wedding arrangements by us. We would refrain from naming the guest on public platform as we respect the guest privacy however, both bride and groom’s side of close relatives such as brothers, sisters, father, brother in-law, sister in-laws, friends staying in our deluxe rooms, premium rooms and superior family rooms said they were happy with all the arrangements did not have any complaint. We hoped that you would acknowledge the efforts put by our team during the wedding, however we only have best wishes for you and we wish you a Happy married life.

Hospitality is awesome. Staff is also cooperative. However, we did not like the service at restaurant while ordering Al carte for 3 couples. They have not give salads until ask. After that ,they given only 6 slices of onions with 1/4 slice of lemon for 6 adults. However, food was good .

Hi, I have been to places and I observe even smallest things. The Den Corbett, is one of best places to stay on Jim Corbett. A Class place, great hospitality, luxe rooms and amazing food. Ps: You will fall in love with the river view. I have stayed in deer room 1 and tree machan house 1, one should have both experiences. Tree house Machan is wow experience. Words will fall short so go and experience yourself. Their Veg. Corn farm thin crust pizza is still on mind. No doubt, one may revisit them all the time for many reasons. It was a great experience staying Den Corbet. It is a home away from home. Services by Mr. Gurbaksh, Mr. Mohan and other staff was amazing. Very well maintained. Food was very tasty. Presentation of food was beautiful. Very peaceful environment.

A really beautiful resort to spend quality time with your loved ones. We had a blast along with our pet Osaka. Though you will be totally dependent on the resort for food n activities.. its still worth a visit. Special thanks to all the staff for making our stay so comfortable...
