The only thing good about this place is it's location in the middle of a jungle over looking Ramganga river. Accommodation is very basic and not much hygienic. Only veg food is served in the canteen apart from Egg omlette.. Rooms are not well maintained....More

One of the very few places where you can stay comfortably inside the core Jungle area.. We stayed in the Hutments and it was more than good considering the location.. The Buffet served from the restaurant was adequate. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommended

we stayed in a guest house in India for about a week, Cafe Pleasure was just down the road so was nice and easy for us, it just so happens that it turned out to be the best place we found for food in India....More

This lodge is basic but with all requirements. Plenty of hot water, nice room, lovely food and pleasant staff, HOWEVER there is one problem which needs addressing. The checkin clerk was extremely rude, no greeting just an abrupt "sign". Not very welcoming. With that aside,...More

This is a government run lodge and exclusive to the core zone of the park which means it can charge more and is always oversubscribed. Sadly our room was very dirty and uncomfortable and there were no facilities for us whlie we waited 2 hours...More

We used AirTel. Service was difficult at Dhikala but there was another camp nearby that we routinely drove through on safaris where there was good data and voice with AirTel.

Night stay permit at Dhikala means that you have safari permit automatically for that day and for half the following day. You have to arrange vehicle separately and pay driver and guide charges separately. Sometimes these... More
