Spending 5 days in Puyuhuapi Lodge was the most relaxing experience I had in a long time. Excellent service, comfortable room with a stunning view, nice menus taking advantage of the local gastronomy and products -especially sea food and a full and friendly bar. The lodge is located next to stunning National Parks and the lodge organized everything for us,...

Now this is the highlight and true gem of my trip on the Carretera Austral. I read about it in „the bible“ (Bradth guide on Carretera Austral) and knew that is where I wanted to spend Xmas. I booked for 4 nights. It was simply devine, the perfect place not to do anthing besides going to the outside hotpools, read...

Apart from the lodge itself, the location, the scenery, the nature and the views are all breathtaking, at a very beautiful and quiet lake. I absolutely recommend to visit the lake and the Puyuhuapi region. BUT, look for another hotel, where the SERVICE and the staff are polite and helpful and not rude and always wanting to have the last...

This is the second time I visited Puyuhuapi. Unfortunately, none of the negatives have changed since I visited it two years ago. The service is absolutely awful in the dining room. In general, a place this expensive should have a much more professional service and more flexile dining hours. The client is always right, but in Puyuhuapi it was the...

Spent four nights here in 2016 after doing the W Trek. November 28-December 2. Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Customer service: First, we rented a car so we were driving from Balmaceda on our own in the evening. There is a ton of construction and we were a little nervous. I booked far in advance, and just a few...

You reach the hotel by a boat since there is no access through land. It is located in a lush green forest right by the water. Stunning views! Rooms are clean and good sized with beautiful views of the water, mountains and green. The small natural hot water pool is a musty try since you see the hot water stream...

End of February. At the parking lot along the main Carretera Austral, we found one of the boat operators who made an appointment for us to take the last boat for the day at 16:30 hrs. This way we could enjoy the visit to the Hanging Glacier in the Queulat National Park a little further down the road. Upon arrival...

What a fantastic experience. Wonderful cozy lodge and spa, very friendly staff with the ever presence of lodge owner/general manager Christine Kossmann. Some staff members are fluent in English which certainly is beneficial to non-Spanish speaking guests, but our knowledge of Spanish certainly was helpful.. Good food (choices of two fixed menus at night and excellent buffet breakfast.) Luncheon is...

This hotel, with stunning views, is an absolute disaster, overprized, we felt like hostages in a green cage, inexperienced personnel, the hotel and spa in notorious bad shape, lazy care of environmental matters. This time was our third time there, and sadly it will be the last. Never again. It is outrageous.

Hotel is in a bad shape, restaurant service ok but the food is not good or even bad. The prices they calculate are to high. Internet is very very bad. They force you to pay in US dollars to a terrible rate. It's almost theft. The spa is not of this time. The termas are old concrete basins.
