Timber Trails has one thing going for itself, and that's it's location. The property is easy to spot and conveniently located. While the restaurants and especially the bar (with a magnificent view) have been renovated with the times, the rooms sadly haven't yet. The guest facing staff is polite, cheerful and quick on service. The service standard unfortunately isn't high....

We stayed here last weekend in a junior suite room. The view is breathtaking and loved the ride on the cable car. The rooms are very old and not very well maintained. What was strange was how the room had only 2 tea bags for 2 people. Even when they replenished them, we were given only 2 tea bags. There...

No sooner had we arrived at Timber Trail resort at the bottom of the cable car than our luggage was whisked away and after only the minimum of formality at the registration desk, we were escorted to the cable car. The ride is unforgettable. The modern ropeway spans a deep forested valley while mountains soar skyward on every side. Ahead...

The room was equally amazing. Apart from two huge beds and a very good shower, the attached balcony with a view overlooking the town of...

Claim to fame of this place is the rope-way which takes you across the mountain to another wing of this resort, which obviously is at much higher height and offers a great 360 degree view of the plains of Himachal and Punjab nearby.
