It has been a few years since I last stayed here. The hotel has become a little shabby since then, but is still adequate. The rooms don't have air conditioning, so the only ventilation is by opening the window - which can be problematic if, like us, you don't like the smell of cigarette smoke with seemingly every other guest...

The hotel provides a quiet retreat with good service. The room was small but clean and functional. The bed was very comfortable. It was an excellent value for money, except that the in-house WI FI had very low internet speeds. Download of around 1Mbs, upload about half that. The manager was very understanding, and he blamed it on the local...

A better than average Ibis, nicely built, doesnt look blocky or like a prison as some do ! Good, large surface carpark in front, beautiful, big, quiet terrace at the back overlooking a small lake. Standard Ibis rooms and the quiet ones are at the back. We had an attic room with a skylight window which was good as it...

Or just outside it anyway. Better than average ibis with very outside bar area, had a dinner with a group booking (MSL Tours) and meal was very good. First beer in France of out trip and a reminder of what to expect (it gets dearer every time). Good stopover and can see the American Memorial from our room.

Set on the banks of the River Marne, the Ibis Chateau-Thierry delivers standard Ibis facilities - you know what you're going to get. Plenty of free parking. Free wifi. Cheerful and helpful staff. Comfortable, clean en-suite and air-conditioned room. Buffet breakfast is worth the extra cost. On-site restaurant provides adequate and locally orientated food - plenty of it and quality...

We liked this Ibis. There’s nothing special about it, it being a chain hotel on the outskirts of town, but we had a pleasant stay. Nice property, friendly staff and a clean, good looking room. As with other Ibis hotels, the room was smallish, but good enough for one night. The center of Château-Thierry is not really in walking distance,...

Having stayed here several times before, we know what to expect. Ample parking. Good sized, well appointed rooms. Set in beautiful ground. What we didn't expect was the resteraunt to be closed. Very annoying. We ended up in the McDonalds 100 yards away! Otherwise a very pleasant stay. Just avoid Sunday's !!!

A great place to stay. The Hotel is near the Marne River and they have a restaurant patio where you can enjoy the view. The room was perfect--and as always...love the IBIS eco friendly soaps and shampoos and walk in showers. Wish we could have stayed longer. Near main roads and easy access to Chateau Thierry...which is where we did...

“Very Quiet. Rooms on the front has a much better view. You could see the World War I Chateau-Thierry American Monument located on a hill two right from your window. Food is excellent. Don't forget to ask for the delicious "creme brulee".”
