Detailed Reviews
Hotel Durvankur is excellent option to stay at Ganapatipule, The food is of decent quality and quantity, The drivers stay and car cleaning was provided complimentary by the hotel. Highly recommend the place. Also hair oil, toothpaste, shampoo and soap were provided as part of welcome kit.
the only issue was the furniture in room and paint in the room could be better.

Durvankur is a budget hotel, located 400 meters from the temple, it has adequate secured parking. Lift available. The rooms are clean, large, have 24 hours water and electricity, the staff is responsive. The only shortcoming is that the in-house restaurant has a fixed vegetarian menu only.
Otherwise for the price charged it is well worth it.

Tea quality was extremely poor. Simply giving water and tea. No milk at all. Taste was third class. Street tea better than their tea. They are providing free breakfast to travellers but breakfast quality very very worst. Hotel acts like travellers are Bhikari people who can eat such free and worst quality breakfast. Also people working in this hotel are not in good nature and showing attitude including guy seating at reception for payment collection. My experience with this hotel too too bad. Travellers are under impression that this hotel is near to ganpatipule temple. In fact its far from temple. Local hotels are better than this hotel and also near to temple but this hotel simply useless. Complete waste of money and time on this hotel. Very very very very third class.

We have booked the AC room in hotel durvankur with the expectations of cleanliness, but we were highly disappointed looking to the lack of cleanliness.
The most important thing was terrible presence of bed-bugs, due to which we could not sleep in the night and my daughter suffered from bed-bug bites and felt seek. We hope hotel management will do the pest control in future.

This hotel is huge but the location is not beautiful. With limited budget this is an excellent choice to stay. Restaurant is also OK. However they can improve the open space on the back side to make this hotel more pleasant to stay.

This hotel is very old. May be 10 or more years. Rooms are big but very unclean. Plaster and pop is coming out and all ac rooms are with very bad smell. AC are very old and water out let dropping at bath room floor make bath room always very slippery.AC filters are very old.
Bed sheets / covers are smaller than mattress. While sleeping you find half of the cover is out and you can see very old compressed dark mattress all over May be 20 years old!
At night manager switched off the AC to save power ; 3 nights we woke up around 2pm founding that AC is not working. When get down and asking they switch on. While paying the final bill I fight heavily and got a discount of 10 % on over all bill. They charge me AC rooms around 1700/- per day.
Only one service boy for so many floors. We asked to clean the toilet while entering and waiting for more than an hour to get him as he is busy to do some other things.
when we get to Down to eat dinner we found same guy is serving water and onions. When we asked he left.
Bath room exhaust fan is fitted but you can't open window being the wooden window was not cut to exhaust the air from bathroom.
Worst part is bathing towels. You will see the colour from while it's become grey and all black colour patches. And when you try to use it you will find it's more than Scrotch bite.
With family it's better not to book and stay in this hotel.
Food quality is very average. Thali we didn't try but ala carte we tried but it's poor. We took food in Tarang at MTDC found to be very good.

Had been to this hotel on 19 & 20 May 2013 with AC rooms. Had to spend whole night in sweat because of no electricity. Still they charged AC room prices. I had booked 3 rooms and informed them of ACs not working at all. They said electricity is not available and if no current is available till morning then they will charge prices for NON-AC(to our surprise they drive only tubelights and fans on diesel generator.). Electricity restored at 7.30AM in the morning. Suffered a lot. A hot and humid place like Ganpatipule should not have such hotels. If you try discussing the issues, the management talks with arrogant loud voice. I'm not concerned just for money, I'm concerned about why these hell of people start hotel business (with their complete FIRSTNAME | LASTNAME formats) if they cannot deal fair with customers. Even more, they did not even put a water jug in the rooms at check-in. Very low level hospitality. Please seek other hotels with good reviews.
Cleartrip should form strict service terms for such hotels. Sadly they don't.

It was nice to stay at Durwankur which fulfilled all our requirements for a comfortable and joyful holiday .Its proximity to the sea shore and the Ganpati temple made it a perfect location to visit . Thanks to Cleartrip . Well done ! Keep it up .
