Many of us know about Ganpatipule beach and while exploring I found a very amazing place named ‘Malgund beach’. We visited this beautiful place. The name “Madachya Banat”, itself sounds so interesting and fascinating about nature that my words will be less to explain its beauty. We visited this place in the first week of December. The climate at that time was very good so we enjoyed our stay very much. We had booked 2 couple rooms and 1 super deluxe room. The rooms are decent and have all the amenities including neat and tidy beds, AC, TV, wardrobes with good space, clean bathrooms which have hot and cold water facilities for 24*7.

As mentioned earlier, ‘Madachya Banat’ concept is so amazing and is designed by ‘Mr. Sanjay Parkar’ and ‘Mrs. Sayali Parkar’. Huge appreciation for their creative thoughts and great efforts they put altogether. The resort is surrounded by big coconut trees, greenery everywhere and groves. The rooms here are very thoughtfully named after these coconut species like Singapore, Pratap, Banavali etc. which makes it so interesting and the nature lovers like us, would definitely enjoy it and rejuvenate their souls.

Malgund beach is right opposite to the property, you just need to cross the road. This beach is very clean, less crowded and safe compared to Ganpatipule beach. There are many water activities like water scooters, banana rides, and sofa rides with reasonable prices.

Ganapatipule is just 4.5 km away from the resort. So if you don't have your own vehicle you can hire an auto to visit Ganpatipule Mandir and nearby shopping markets from the resort.

We had organised this trip to celebrate my sister and brother in law's wedding anniversary. Luckily, when we reached there, I saw a very beautiful light setup which I had imagined creating before visiting and it was already available there which made me feel even more excited. I had to take less effort on part of my surprise decoration for their anniversary as the colourful lights in the resort area did its job to the fullest.

I coordinated with Mr. Onkar Parkar for the bookings. He is polite and humble. He promptly responded to all our queries and well managed everything when we were there. I would highly appreciate his efforts in making sure that all clients are happy and comfortable.

The staff is humble, honest and very hard working. Overall it was a very pleasant experience of the resort and a homely feeling with the Parkar family and their staff 'Yogesh', 'Mandar', 'Netra' who had given all their efforts for providing us the best service. Special thanks to the chef for making delicious food. We ordered chicken chilly and prawns chilly on all 4 days of our stay as we liked their preparation. Also their konkani food recipes are really good.

I would highly recommend everyone to visit this resort without any second thoughts and I will also definitely visit again to cover the remaining sightseeing.

I visited the property during December end 2022 and first time ventured out to celebrate new year away from home. It was worth coming to this property, very hygienic, well maintained, just 4-5 min walk to Malgund beach. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and new year eve. Hats off to the entire team for arranging a wonderful new year party with awesome food. Highly recommended. Plans to visit again with my extended family.

We were suggested Madachya Banat by a friend of a friend who stays in Ratnagiri. It is nice place, nestled right to the beautiful Malgund Beach. Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Breakfast is complimentary and you can opt for the buffet which starts at 8.30am or you may request customised dishes after 9.30am. Hot water is 24 hours. The staff is very polite and hard working. Feel of a homestay is intact. We were a family of six including two seniors >75 years old and two kids 5 years old. Malgund Beach is just across the road, a 5 minute walk.

the staff attitude was poor throughout the stay, when asked for water at night, they simply said the kitchen is closed, after calling 2-3 times to them only they brought the water.
food was average, we stayed on 31st December, new year eve and yet the resort didn't put any efforts to celebrate new years eve. The whole resort was supposed to sleep or what at that time, i dont know. You cant go outside at night also because the property is surrounded by barren land and some other resorts which were celebrating new years though. The room was below average, you will hit your head or foot somewhere or the other all the time. the blanket that they provided was the cheapest quality one. the only benefit of this place is the walking distance to a good beach in front. overall the stay was terrible owing to poor staff behaviour, amenities and not at all value for money. If you can book this for below 2k its fine, otherwise worthless.

We booked rooms in Nov mid by checking property and review online for Dec last week. Onkar helped us for bookings and queries.

Property well maintained and thoughtfully developed , cement pahways ,pah way lights, construction ,dinning ,kitchen and playing area. Coconut trees and lawn is maintained with ample parking area.

Rooms are well decor as per deluxe category and amenities ,we stayed at ground floor rooms.

Food was delicious and preordered as per time and they provided menu card for selection.

Morning buffet breakfast was really good and varieties provided.

This was our 2nd stay at Madachya Banat & we enjoyed it to the fullest. We had been to this place in March 2020 & were awestruck by the lush greenery & Coconut plantation surrounding this resort. One of the key highlights of this place is buffet breakfast - it has variety of local delicacies on offer. Food served in the restaurant is homely & tasty. Malgund beach is just a minute away which is extremely serene & peaceful.
Overall, highly recommended!
