We recently dined at The Bell (8 of us in total). The meals were fantastic and so huge we only managed 2 courses! The starters are extremely generous so if you are more of a 'pudding person' , unless you have a huge appetite, you may want to go straight for a main course. Once again, these are generous and...

Lovely village Everything with the pub and accommodation excellent, clean, warm and friendly staff. Cooked breakfast was disappointing as it took an age to arrive and was poor with sausage not thoroughly cooked, scrambled egg not well mixed, fatty bacon.

We only live in Bristol but love to take short breaks to countryside places never visited before. We booked this last minute through late rooms as it wasn't too far and boasted a beautiful village green and walks. Although the weather wasn't great.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and took a nice walk along the canal close by. Rooms were...

Had lunch here today not knowing that a beer and cider festival were taking place. We ordered Dressed Crab £9.95, sardines with mediteraen veg £5.95 and a steak burger £8.95 all washed down with cider of course. The barman was excellent in taking the order, after a few minutes of being sat down out side he came out to tell...

We stayed here for a couple of nights midweek and were pleasantly surprised. We were in one of the larger suites at the rear of the hotel, which had a private entrance from the car park. Our rooms were spacious and, comfortable and clean, ok not immaculate, no air con, and the shower controls were a bit awkward, but you...

This was our first time to Frampton on Severn and we came to see Giffords Circus which were parked on the green opposite the Bell Inn. There were 14 in our party and we booked for 7.30. It was busy in the pub and we arrived and hour earlier than expected but the staff made up very welcome and still...

My mother in-law booked us rooms and an evening meal at the bell for all the family last week. After reading some of the previous trip advisor reviews, my expectations were far from high but oh how wrong I was. Our reception on arrival was fantastic. All staff were very friendly and we felt immediately at home. Once shown to...

Made the mistake of staying here last weekend, we did not eat or drink here so unable to comment on the bar / restaurant. Stayed in the Cambridge suite which was in dire need of a complete overhaul, though offered a good space with views over the green. No hot water in the morning and a bizarre DIY breakfast left...

My party of seven ate here Cheltenham Festival week, The food was so good we returned for a second night. On Monday to Wednesday evening you get 30% off your total food bill, so it was great value for money, but we dined Thursday also , and meals are reasonably priced. The steak pie is particularly recommended. Our waiter was...
