Emailed Day before as staying in the Area. Chef did us a three course meal all vegan! Was lovely would recommend! Mushrooms in a ragu sauce, Chickpea curry, goulash and a fruit compote with rice pudding and a creme angkaise topping! Yum!

A local pub which provided good honest refreshments. Landlord extremely solicitous and eager to help and encourage a return visit. Sadly we returned a couple of days later on Sunday lunchtime and didn't stay as they only offered roast dinners which we didn't want.

When I visit the Forest of Dean I travel alone and even as a man -it is not always comfortable entering village pubs, within a small community. On my first visit I chose to have lunch in 'The White Horse' by chance and immediately felt at ease. Andy, the landlord serves a decent pint and the food is enjoyable and...

If you're looking for a cosy, welcoming village pub that serves good quality, reasonably priced food the White Horse Inn is well worth a visit. The bar has a lovely log fire and occasionally has special nights.

When my parents suggested we went here for a meal I'll admit I was a little dubious, especially since under previous ownership the pub never served food, but both the service and quality of the food blew me away, highly recommended!

“Sadly 'The White Horse' does not offer accommodation and any references to B&B refer to the previous owners. I understand that the current owners took-on The White Horse' circa. May 2012.”
