Had a great stay once again at the crown. All the staff very helpful. The accommodation was great and Samantha cooks a cracking breakfast. The Battered Black Pudding and Haggis balls on the Restaurant evening menu are must have! Dogs are welcome in most areas except the Restaurant.
Well looked after by staff, Steven, Samantha, Hayley, Stuart, Suzy, Cara, very friendly and helpful, room and bed comfortable, great breakfasts and Sunday lunch huge and tasty. good wi fi and shower. Stayed during the RAC Rally when crews were stuck in town with trees blocking roads and staff kept them well fed and watered, accomodation and warm blankets during the severe gales outside. Well done Crown Hotel.
Stayed at the Crown with eight others over a stormy weekend - Hotel staff were very welcoming of us and those that were stranded, especially considering how loud we were being. Would recommend, for the customer service.
Last night we and about 20 other crews got stuck outside Langholm following a large number of trees downed by storm Arwen. The hotel threw open its doors to bring us in from the blizzards and biting 100 mph Arctic gales. The hotel could not have done more for us trapped competitors- they kept us fed and watered as well as providing warm blankets. Special thanks to the wonderful team at the hotel for looking after us so we’ll. they were super kind and thoughtful Phil Harris car 109
Rooms need updating, staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. David behind the bar is a right scream and very down to earth. The breakfast was nice and the new owners Steven and Samantha are great. They spoke about the re modernisation that will take place over the coming months / years. We wish them all the best.
