We were privileged to stay in a place of such historical importance. The frescoes, the wooden carvings, the coloured glass and swaying fabrics made this a really atmospheric setting for our one night stay. The candlelit supper on the terrace set things off perfectly. Our room was large and airy and complimented by a spacious bathroom. There were impressive views... More

We stayed here for one night lovely large room and huge bathroom, overlooking central courtyard. Staff were very welcoming. Great views from the terrace restaurant where we enjoyed sharing a Thai. Beer seems to be the only alcoholic drink available. This hotel would not be suitable for young children quite a number of potential safety issues ie no railings on... More

The hotel is simply amazing: the painted courtyard can easily be counted among one of the most beautiful attractions of Mandawa. The rooms are tidy and well furnished, we were particularly lucky because, since there were very few guests, they gave us the "suite" instead of the standard room we booked. The restaurant was good and was frescoed as the... More

We had a very warm welcome to this beautifully restored Haveli in Mandawa. My husband and I found the staff friendly and attentive. Our upstairs room was spacious clean and full of character. The room had good air-conditioning and also fans. The bathroom was spacious and hot water was not a problem during our stay. We enjoyed dinner on the... More

An incredibly beautiful, historical hotel with friendly staff and great service. I only had soup for dinner, a daal and spinach soup, but it was delicious. The bathroom fixtures were modern, a pleasant surprise. This was one of my very favorite hotels on my monthlong trip to India. I absolutely loved it!

This beautifully restored haveli was a real treat after the long (public) bus trip from Delhi. We particularly liked the warm welcome we were given as part of a small Intrepid group tour and enjoyed eating in the various locations (in the garden, on the roof and inside for breakfast) Food was very good. it is a beautiful haveli with... Lovely, huge top floor room (the owner said it was his favourite) with great shower area in the big bathroom and lots of hot water when the tank was refilled. All the rooms we saw seemed to be different but equally charming and there were lots of cozy sitting areas and a library for a really comfortable stay. It is... More

We stayed here for two days in January 2011, and we are certain that this is one of the best places in Mandawa. Great Haveli-atmosphere, superb location and nice and interested staff. Make it your choice when in this picturesque little town. The Nagesh room is a small labyrinth with surprises around the corners. Not huge but very cozy. Thanks... More
