This was a real 5 star experience!! Beautiful spacious rooms, lovely location and excellent service. Filter coffee in the room was a nice touch. Golf Club and restaurant only a short stroll across the golf course.

Thank you for your kind comments. We prefer that our service offering is rated 5 Star by our patrons on a continuous basis... Rather than putting it up on a wall based on a one-time rating! Blessings. Carlene

We stopped over on our way back from the Fish River Hike and it is beautiful. Service was fantastic and the rooms exquisite with all the finishing touches expected for a luxury guesthouse. We also received a breakfast voucher for Mugg&Bean as they don't serve breakfast on weekends. We will happily be back.

The rooms are nice and spacious, and the aircons in the rooms work well to cool you down. The guesthouse is right on the beautiful golf course. Perfect for an overnight stop over. We didn't have the breakfast as they don't serve breakfast on a Sunday and were given vouchers for Wimpy. If you enjoy golf the course is definitely...

I stayed here returning from Springbok and Naries Namakwa Retreat (R3000 per night DB&B in a luxury mountain top suite). The Mongoose charges R1700 B&B. I chose the Mongoose based on its website photos and just in case our stay at Urban Hotel was not good (R660 room only). The first problem is finding this place. It's located on a...

Firstly I would just like to apologise for the things that went wrong during your stay - things sometimes do go wrong! That is why we have 2 cel-phone numbers included in the info-file located in each room. A simple call could have resolved the tripped plugs problem etc. I believe your comparison between Mongoose and the Urban is biased...

The setting of this guesthouse is sublime. Built on the famous Kathu golf course under majestic trees and close to the club house, it's location is as close to perfect as can be. The rooms are spacious and modern with sumptuous details. The breakfast was top notch.

We had an extraordinary experience in luxury, detail oriented little blessings and breakfasts that sustained you through the day. The hosts made us feel at home in the Kalahari. Beautiful place and people!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Mongoose Guesthouse. The owners are sweet as can be, and the workers are delightful. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and private. The guesthouse is kept in top notch condition, everything very clean and pleasant. The food is delicious and hearty with a variety of dishes. We stayed there in the middle of summer,...

Our golfing fourball had a great overnight stay and fabulous golf day. We really enjoyed all the facilities and your staff are both friendly and efficient. We will most certainly be back, this time with our wives. Our only criticism was the very slippery shower floors, given that we are almost "old age pensioners" Regards, Jan Greef, Shaun Hendry, Paul...

Excellent accommodation, great setting, fantastic food, friendly and helpful staff-just what is needed after a busy day in the harsh environment of the Northern Cape, highly recommended. Will definitely bee staying their again on my future visits.
