A relaxing place set in 100 acres of old jungly gardens. The bird life is superb. We saw so many colorful and different birds. One morning on our walk we were joined buy this quiet and sophisticated gentleman who pointed out all the names of birds, trees and mammals, we even saw a mongoose.

The advantage of Maharani Bagh Orchard Retreat is that it is so close to the Jain temple, and, while I appreciate it is not an expensive place to stay, it could be so much better. The grounds are lovely, with fabulous trees, birds, (barbets, hornbills) walks. The rooms could easily be made charming but beds and bathrooms are very basic...

We stayed 2 nights here and were very satisfied. The accommodation is in semi-detached pavilions scattered across a wooded site with a stream running through it, flowering shrubs, birdsong and the occasional monkey. The room was not fancy but very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. There is a small irregularly shaped pool and we did a couple of short...

Great service, fabulous food and serene sorroundings made our stay here wonderful. We caught a glimpae of the resident croc and some lovely birds. The room was large and comfortable, swings around the property added to the charm.

If in my entire trip to Rajasthan this November, there is one place where we would like to return and stay longer it would be the MBOR, because of the way the people treated us there, especially Mr. Chandan Singh who went out of the way to help us. The place doesnt feel like a hotel at all and we...

I had been to welcome heritage facility in Corbett a few years back. That experience which was excellent and our plan to visit Rajasthan , lead us to this retreat and this time our experience went a notch higher. We are a family with 3 children and were worried a bit about the expectations which each one of us had from...

A nice and quiet property with beatiful old mango orchards. Very courteous staff (chandan singh) and delicious cuisine. Nicely spaced out with sit outs under thatched roofs. There is a nice walking trail within the campus which can offer some intersting bird sightings and neel gai. Airconditioning and geysers need some maintenance. Overall a great experience. Would recommend to people...

We stayed at Maharani Bagh for two nights. Loved the place: comfortable, quiet, green (lots of trees in a big property), good food, great service, very relaxing. Property & rooms: it has two-room units scattered over a large property. Each room has a sit-out (a shared verandah) facing a little garden. It's not a manicured property overall, has walking trails,...
