I really enjoyed my stay at Sri Harul. I had a lovely room with a balcony and ocean view. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly, they even let me borrow a surf board a few times. The rooftop restaurant has good food and at comparable prices than the other tourist restaurants. The WiFi worked well in...

We arrived here straight after arriving at Chennai airport. Lovely beach location and most of the rooms have a sea view with a balcony. Very clean hotel with many little touches to make life easy for travelers. Nice restaurant where you could get early morning tea and coffee. For us the best thing about this hotel was the helpfulness of...

This was written regarding our visit 25-29/11/16. It was rewritten/edited and submitted in London on 6/2, third attempt as two previous attempts were not permitted for an unknown reason. This is written on a large computer and screen so hopefully no glitches found. Things will have moved on in over two months no doubt. If my original submission at the...

I didn't have much time to plan our trip to Mahabalipuram! The idea was to spend a relaxed weekend with Family! So I had only the previous evening to check the availability. I selected Sri Harul based on the good reviews that I read here! And it stayed true to that! The picturesque ambiance around the place is simply amazing...

The Sri Harul Guest House is a very nice place, in front of the ocean. The rooms have a beautifully balcony and they're very clean. The owner, Lingkhes, is a really nice & helpful guy. We decided to stay just two days, but when we saw the guest house we decided to stay two more days. It is just to...

If you book a room at Sri Harul, it is definitely for the balcony and the view. Otherwise, the room is very basic. We had one sheet for two beds, one old towel and the bathroom was not clean. The rooftop restaurant is closed, there is no reception, no wifi. We had to call the owner at the café next...

We were a little bit surprised as the previous reviews are good but when we arrived it felt like the owners and staff had given up on the place a bit with mattresses and chairs stacked in the hallways and damp bedding. The owner was really lovely and helpful and this guest house has so much potential but the restaurant...

Our room had a balcony overlooking the fisherman's beach and must have been one of the best in town. The room was large, airy and reasonably clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Although there was no AC, in February this was not necessary.Nice roof top cafe although this did not provide food Excellent value for money, highly recommended. However,...

This was the first time I've been able to stay in this place for a few years as it has always been full - so if you want a room, especially sea facing, then I recommend booking ahead, and certainly during the busy December/January months. I had stayed at a few others before chancing on this and it is by...
