I was here with my parents for a 3 day getaway, and it was a comfortable experience in every aspect. We truly commend the grand welcome by the lovely folk music team and the stunning performers who put on a great show during the evening high tea sessions. The concierge ensured a seamless check in, the bell boys were extremely attentive and organized with all luggages even while there was a huge influx of new check in's along with us. The restaurant team were constantly on their toes paying attention to every detail of the customers needs with such grace. We were very pleased and impressed with Zuali who was at our service for the most part of our stay. She is extremely polite, pro-active, professional, considerate and friendly which set a good vibe during our dining experience. She certainly sets a great example. Additionally, Vaithegi who was at the restaurant reception was extremely welcoming with a calm demeanor and a great attitude. We also had the pleasure of a lovely conversation with Masterchef Ahmed, who along with his team of chefs worked tirelessly going above and beyond our expectations in preparation of the majestic buffet spread. You are truly spoilt for choice as the food caters to every palette with unquestionable quality. The Housekeeping staff were extremely humble and patient. I commend Malavika who along with her team made a special effort on my Mom's birthday to decorate the room along with other special surprises. She and her team would ensure our beds were made even when they would drop in the room briefly to keep some evening turn in chocolates at the pantry. I have to give a special shout out to Easter from reception who was extremely helpful in arranging for medicines with the hotel driver in such short notice when my Dad fell sick. She followed through diligently. While the property is undeniably beautiful overall, the highlight for me was the pathway and access to their private beach which was immaculate and well maintained, in addition to the massive swimming pool which was also very clean and kept in check regularly by the dedicated team. Our sincere appreciation towards the entire staff for this wholesome and hearty experience.

We booked three deluxe twin rooms, the check-in process was smooth, and in 10 minutes, the rooms got allocated. This new property is immaculate and fresh with Rajasthani architecture, but to my surprise, unfinished walls are still on the balcony. These standard rooms have sharp bed corners, and you need to mind, or you may hit it and get hurt. I was not comfortable with the size of the rooms and got the rooms upgraded to the next category. And these rooms are spacious, and I loved the view of the Sagar pool from the first-floor room balcony. The high tea with the Rajasthani folk dance was impressive, while the chairs to sit on didn’t have chair leg protectors, and it was not even on the floor. The massive lawn towards the beach is outstanding, and the pathway to the beach along the palm trees is appealing. I noticed the image of a guest with a bicycle, and when I checked, they mentioned they didn’t have bikes. Breakfast had a good spread, and we enjoyed it, while a simple al carte dinner order took 1 Hr for them to serve. Overall the food was average, and the F&B team needed to improve the turnaround time and relook at the pricing strategy for the food.
Thanks to Devinder Kaundal, F&B, for all the support, while Sridhar Thota, GM, has to get the team together to delight the guests. This new property will take longer to settle and learn the guest expectations to catch up with temple bay or other properties of the same tariff.
Overall it didn’t give a feeling of luxury or a 5-star property,I wish all the best to them.

Place, ambience, food everything was such a delight. The staff Sharmila, Prasun, Duss at the restaurant made sure we had everything on time at the restaurant. At the e Activity centre Maithri made sure we had a wonderful art experience, the puzzle and the magic tricks she performed were mind blowing. Whats not to like about this property. Luxurious property, clean rooms, beautiful view of the beach, the most amazing pool. The staff is courteous and friendly. Every corner of the hotel is an instagram spot and looks classy. Sravanshi at front desk to everyone at the restaurant, the housekeeping supervisor and staff, all were extremely cordial and welcoming. Must visit property in Chennai. Beach access is so comfortable and feels safe even at night. The high-tea is a not to be missed event with Rajasthani folk performances and scrumptious food. It was a birthday surprise for me and my room was beautifully decorated and a pretty little cake was awaiting me. Totally worth the spend.

Stayed with Teenaged kids and Senior citizens over the weekend. Enjoyed the property with spectacular decor, interiors and instagrammable spots. The architects have been very careful with the furnishing and it shows in the property. New property, and everything shines like a pretty penny.
F&B : High tea and Breakfast spread was amazing. Calling the spread during high tea will be an understatement because it can easily be considered a meal. Breakfast had continental and INdian spread. The menu was prepared with care and not as a check in the box (to say that the item was also available). The underchefs did customize it for every preference. The service staff was at the beck and call, and fawned over us. We did feel like royalty!!
Pool was spotless, water sparkling and the deck clean. Silent lifeguards stood watching making themselves unobtrusive to our reserve. ENjoyed the cool water on a bloody hot day.
Evening is spectacular when the lights are turned on. There are cutural programs for the evening (Rajasthani) to blend with the ambience.
Mini bar well stocked and complimentary. Fruit platter included.
Now for some improvements: The reservations team dropped the ball on my special request for a birthday. Email confirmation from the team did not measure up to the many reminders I made at the hotel for Cake and deocoration for a special occasion. Somewhere I think the communication did not circulate within the service team about my request.
Ice requests took a few hours.
Overall, I have cherishable memories and I am willing to overlook the improvement areas. I will definitely stay here when my wallet can afford it.

Not really geared up for Westeners and a few missing tricks. Only 2 years old and good decor. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean room and linen. However, no conditioner, limited supply of shampoo, £3.50 for a small can of tonic water, drain in shower blocked and flooded bathroom and some of bedroom which was then fixed and cleaned. Had to ask for robes. Beach clean but chairs and tables on a concrete deck and feels very much like a building site. No foot tap or shower on beach but toilets in nearby gardens. No umbrellas and no shade. Told no umbrellas in case of cyclone: don't get that as other beach hotels have them. No bar on beach. It felt very sad. Breakfast fine but very difficult to get tea as had to ask each time. They have one small kettle to boil water for a large restaurant. No choose your own tea which is very strange. Lots of babies and small children and areas closed off for corporate events. Huge pool area but canned music from 0700 than can be heard in room even with doors closed and AC on. The room doors bang when they shut and more than loud enough to disturb sleep. Turn down service was some chocolate and curtains closed. Nothing tidied or refreshed For over £250 a night it does not meet the mark.

We stayed at this beautiful resort for 2 nights after working in Chennai. The whole stay was amazing and no request was too much trouble. The staff were welcoming and attentive, including advising us, as European visitors, on local delicacies. Food was excellent and wide ranging, the facilities were fantastic and spotlessly clean. We stayed in an executive suite which was roomy and comfortable, giving us space to sit comfortably inside out of the heat. Lots of activities available, our favourite being the breathtaking pool and the hi-tea entertainment with local music and dancers. We will definitely return!

Distance from Chennai is about 45kms & rates vary on daily basis which is available on our website. We do have cooking facility available only in the Villa's.
