You feel total disconnected of the world staying in one of these amazing cottages besides the river. The scenery is one of the best you can get, the cottage is clean, comfy (kingsize bed) and safe. The owners are very friendly and helpful, they even made us a breakfast-to-go on request! If you're looking for something special, this is the...

Faultless ! Perfect In every way from start to our leaving. Thoroughly recommend Umlambo as your base if you are visiting Addo for a couple of days. You never know you may be lucky enough to sample one of Donald's hearty delicious dinners. Sadly never got round to the available kayak experience on the Sunday's River, perhaps next time? Thanks...

We had a lovely stay at Umlambo & will definitely visit there again. The children had a fabulous time on the canoes on the river & in the swimming pool at the manor house. The gardens on the farm are exquisite - a paradise for children to play and for adults to unwind ;-)

We came here by mistake. Long story. And so glad we did. We turned up at about 6 pm. No notice. A bit of panic I believe in the background to open up/freshen up, but we had no knowledge of this at the time. Well done to Angela for being cool and collected about it all despite having got family...

Heaven on earth! It is absolutely recommendable to stay in one of the beautiful riverside cottages! Peaceful atmosphere, very friendly staff, great hospitality and a rich and freshly prepared breakfast! Thanks a lot to the whole family for the great time! I felt at home far away from home!

We were very happy with our stay at Umlambo, our river front chalet was in a stunning setting, the décor of the rooms is beautiful and we had everything we needed in the chalet. The family who run and own Umlambo are very welcoming and helpful and told us all about the activities in the area and showed us around....

We loved our stay at Umlambo. The cottages are situated next to the Sundays River on a citrus farm. Each cottage has a patio overlooking a beautiful garden and the river. How wonderful it was to sit out on the patio with our tea in the morning and hear the call of the fish eagle. The cottages have been designed...

During our 4 week tour of South Africa, we stayed in many B&Bs. This one was by far our favourite and most memorable. Breakfast was delightful and being on the river was so peaceful and quite. Thank you to Angela, her dad and staff for making our stay such an amazing one. Our only regret was not booking for longer.

My husband and I did a 12 day road trip around the Eastern Cape and over-nighted at many B&B's. This one was by far the best one on our trip. We stayed in one of the river cottages and the moment the door opened it took my breath away. Very spacious, clean, neat and gorgeous! The verandah is huge with...
