Hidden at the bottom at a road too narrow to get a bus down, this hotel was like finding Aladdin's cave. Great setting, helpful people. The hotel has remodeled some caves and extended the facilities to fit in the unusual environment. All mod cons. Wi-Fi is available, a small enticing pool beckons and breakfast is had in the open under...

Like many top-rated mid-priced hotels on Tripadvisor, Gamirasu wins points for not nickel-and-diming their guests. Freebies are particularly extensive here, with free wifi, bottled water, shuttle to Urgup, breakfast, bikes, even horses. We were upgraded to a Superior Family Suite which was almost shockingly large, basically two large rooms that were joined together. The bathrooms suffer a bit from a...

A fantastic end to our four weeks in Turkey. Beautiful hotel with the cave suite being a unique experience. Extensive breakfast buffet with delicious omlettes using tasty free range eggs. The new swimming pool while small is delightful. All this is complimented by the most helpful and friendly staff we have ever experienced. An extra day must be added onto the sightseeing...

Ayvali is a remote, small village that is off the beaten path; if this is an issue for you do not stay at Gamirasu. If you are ok with that, this hotel provides a unique experience to stay in a cave room and experience excellent, friendly Turkish service. The breakfast selection is extensive and the restaurant surprisingly good for dinner....

We were somewhat torn during our stay. We of course, wanted to see the amazing sights Cappadocia has to offer, but there was part of us, that would have been content to sit on our balcony, looking at the hotel and its surroundings for all of our three days. In a sense, the hotel, and the little ravine it is...

Very nicely thought and renovated place, really charming. It is a little away from the bustle, but is no more than 15' by car and this adds to its charm. Located in anold monastery in a nice small village, I would strongly recommend it.

Just spent four nights at Gamirasu in the most lovely, large, romantic cave room ever! We had a magnificent spa bath with cascading waterfall and lights that changed colors. The room was huge, had a fireplace, two separate sitting areas, and giant bed that was covered with rose petals when we arrived. I loved this hotel. If you are an equestrian,...
