Accommodation at the villas is clean, spacious and equipped with all the basic essentials. Grounds very neat and staff very friendly and helpful with queries . A lot of activities to keep kids busy. Well priced and not over crowded. Will definitely go back

What a beautiful camp with clean ablution blocks and campsite is well maintained with green lawns and each campsite is well organized with a brick braai & grid that is cleaned daily. I took the opportunity to dine my wife at there restaurant and what a pleasure as the food is great and also value for money... Only negative is...

At the end of a trip the bottom line question is whether you would come back or not.. I am not convinced that I would. Good points: The front line staff are warm, friendly, accommodating. The value for money is good on accommodation and meals. The lodge is generally clean and well kept. The quality of the food in the...

We have been to the lodge a couple of times previously and always felt that we got what we paid for. We decided to stay in one of the "Luxury" river view villas (as advertised on their site) this time. There is nothing luxurious about these villas. This time was quite a disappointment. The units are dark and dingy. Much...

Arrived to a busy park on the weekend, however that all settled on Sunday night when we had the park to ourselves. My aged mother stayed in the chalets while we in our caravan overlooking the river. The park is wonderful and green with a free flowing river. Peaceful and quiet our bird list is at 25 species of water...

Our school planning weekend was most successful due to the well maintained and superb facilities at this lodge. The conference center was well equipped without unnecessary disturbances. Our whole weekend was catered for by the restaurant at the lodge and the food was wholesome, tasty and well prepared. The staff at this venue were always helpful and assisted with a friendly...

My overall rating of the Olifants River Lodge is average. The 12km gravel road to the Lodge is not a pleasant experience. The overall look and feel of the Lodge is untidy and neglected. The River View Villas are O.K, but could be improved in terms of cleanliness. The lunch that we had at the Gramadoelas Restaurant was a disaster....

Well maintained bungalows with all self catering equipment. Restaurants on site with well prepared food at affordable prices . The Sunday buffet was delicious and well presented. The heated swimming pool is clean, well maintained and just the place to relax with friends and family. Plenty wildlife all around and the birds is a lust for the eye. For the...

The road to the lodge is long, tedious and if you do not have an SUV, your car shakes for about 20 minutes on your way to the lodge. We went on a couples retreat to the lodge this passed weekend & 3 of the friends in our group had birthdays. We are aged between 22 and 35, so naturally...

Nice surroundings, friendly staff, lots of different accommodations, not so clean, food is good but not special. for children great because of swimming-pools and playground. Situated near the river where you can fish.
