I didn’t stay here, but I did visit on 3 consecutive days to spend time in the onsen. The hotel is next to the Yamanashi Gem Museum, facing Lake Kawaguchi.
A very nice experience. The Reception staff were polite and warm, and spoke decent English....More
Hotel was showing signs of wear, room was small but this is normal for Japan.
Bath room was tiny as well, but the digital toilet seat is an interesting addition to the room.
Breakfast is traditional Japanese, so don't expect anything else.

We managed to get a deal for this place, 15,000yen for three of us. It gets this rating mainly due to that. I know the going rate is much higher, unjustified.
Easily located, near the lake, near the restaurants, I'm sure you can see Fuji...More
I found the design of the onsen very nice.
It's perfect for the customers of the hotel, but very expensive for the non guest.
1000¥ only for 3 baths. And very noisy when you are outside.

The shared bathroom is for toilet and wash basin only. There is no shower on the sleeping floor. One has to wash in its onsen place which is located on the ground floor (or they call it 1/F). The bathroom is basically a Men toilet with two standing urinal bowls (for male) together with two closed western toilet bowls (for either sex). The design is not convenient for female to use if a guy has already entered and standing there.
