We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel near Mt Fuji and this fit the bill quite nicely. The rooms were spacious, the food was really good (we did dinner and breakfast) and the location is perfect for viewing and touring all of the spots to see and photograph Mt Fuji.

We took a room at level 4 facing Mt Fuji and lake. It's probably the best stack that one can ask for. Took some of the best shots from dawn to morning breakfast time with the changing lights. Hotel is on the red line bus (every 15 min) so its convenient to travel to town centre. Our room was Japanese style. We tried the hot bath (public) style and liked it as it was very quiet and not crowded at all. Dinner was served on the evening we checked in and breakfast too the following morning. The meals were good and was a complete Japanese set dinner and breakfast. Very traditional. The hotel emailed us prior to our arrival to Japan to say they will pick us up from kawaguchiko train station. And they sent us back to train station on the late afternoon of checkout. The service and staff were super. They said to us:" just talk to us to us know what's the need and we will see what we can do to assist or help provide". We stayed and left the best experience of visiting Mt Fuji / hakone area.

We stayed in a Japanese style room and had the full Japanese breakfast/dinner. The food was very nice - with a solid mix of flavours. The Japanese breakfast included a few pastries and tea/coffee - very welcome - particularly for the kids. The onsen was good but small. They split men/women so the 7th floor view is only available half the time depending on gender. The hotel bus picked us up from the station and even dropped us at the nearby ropeway. It seemed very small and the staff aimed to please.

Good accommodation. The staffs are eager to serve you. They will even prepare to direct the traffic incase if you are driving. Free parking at their lots of you are staying. The room is very clean. Bathroom is attached. Our room sees the mount fuji. Room is stuffy if you closed the windows, this is to prevent the bugs from coming in. The breakfast and dinner is serve well. Good selections. If you stay more than 2 days, do choose their different menus. The food is good and their service is excellent. Do the try their grape wine, it is their hotel speciality. The onsen is small but the place is relaxing. My 5th time to kawaguchiko, this is the better hotel, abit more expensive.
