Friendly staff, amazing location and easy access to heaps of water activities. Great spot for snorkelling straight off the resort! Food is 10/10 and very well maintained and looked after resort. Staff always welcoming and happy to help when needed. Amazing cocktails as well!

We moved from the Pacific Resort Aitutaki after being stuck in Rarotonga due to the temporary closure of our destination airport. We expected the same standard from a sister resort but were sadly disappointed. There seemed to be markedly different prices for the rack rate of the same class of room at the same time checking in. The restaurant staff appeared disinterested and the service was very average. However, the food was good and the ambiance by the water was nice. The spa treatments were superb. Overall this resort was not worth the money and we would not stay again or recommend it

First time to the Pacific resort ( not our first to Rarotonga). Beautiful location and very good rooms. Highlight here was the awesomely friendly and helpful staff, Rupeni was a standout for us. Have toured around many other resorts but will come back here

We’ve just returned home from a blissful 7 nights at the Pacific Resort and we absolutely loved our time there. This was our first international family trip with a four year old, and he had an absolute blast. The pool, kids club and close access to the beach were all perfect for little ones, and the rooms were clean, modern, private and surrounded by beautiful gardens. The staff felt like family and were so kind and accomodating during our stay, and looked after us so well, especially the ladies in the restaurant and kids club. We can’t wait to return for another holiday in paradise.

This isnt our first time at the Pacific resort Raro, the place is always clean and the grounds are immaculate. There's a pool as well as the beach. They have paddle boards or kayaks to use at your leisure and Charlie will sort you out if you need any water sports gear. A huge shout out to the staff Viriama, Naomi, Aunty Mona, and Kenny from Sandals restaurant and to Florence, Quincy, Masi, Siti, Kesha & Tauvali who took care of our needs at the Barefoot bar and grill, not to mention what cocktail to have during the twice daily Happy hour. The Pacific resort has a car and scooter hireage facility on site, and the lovely young lady who took care of us was so helpful, nothing was a bother. The food night market is a 5min walk away from the resort with the main market based in town on Saturdays. If you get a chance to look around, head to the long standing Trader Jack's at the wharf for a meal while you watch the local kids swim and the Waka ama team train. We visited a place called Charlie's, a fairly new place set on the beachfront with live entertainment and local cuisine. However, you cannot resist the longstanding fresh fish burger from the Palace, situated in town on the side of the road not far from Trader Jack's and don't forget the Island burger from Sea Salt, Meitaki maata whanau for a memorable time, your care and kai.

Once again the Pacific Resort came through! Right from when we checked in everything went smoothly. I love this place! We stayed in a 3 Bedroom Premium Beachfront Villa, gorgeous! Big fully functional kitchen, clean & tidy bathrooms, excellent sized bedrooms, seperate living & dining area. Spacious outside areas.

Our week at Pacific Resort was fabulous! The family rooms are super comfy and spacious and very well laid out for a family with teens. Location on Muri Beach is gorgeous and we enjoyed the free access to kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling gear. Breakfast was a healthy buffet style overlooking the lush tropical gardens and staff are friendly and helpful. My favourite was the Barefoot Beach Bar which serves beautiful meals and drinks. Loads of seafood options on offer and both indoor and outdoor dining. Would love to return!

Last minute stay with late booking and we got a good package in a family room. Lots of space and it was well equiped. The resort is really well Kept and the grounds immaculate. The pool was great in the afternoons and staff were happy to bring drinks to it. The beach out the front is beautiful and the kayaks are really fun play on and paddle in the lagoon. It’s not a large resort so eating options are limited but if wasn’t an issue for us. Walking distance to night market. If your looking for something a bit more upmarket, quieter and relaxing I would recommend. If you want a big resort with all the extras look somewhere else. We would stay again.

We stayed Pacific Resort Rarotonga for 14 days. Due to a debacle booking with Air NZ (subject of another review) we ended arriving at 2am. Our booking dates changed a number of times prior to our arrival and the PRR staff were incredibly patient, helpful and efficient. The resort is located 15-20 minutes drive from the airport and main town of Rarotonga. Our check-in was lightning fast and we were in our room in a matter of minutes. We awoke to the view over a magnificent aquamarine lagoon, with picturesque islands dotted around. I highly recommend the Premium Beachfront Suites (1st floor). They're right on the edge of the sand, have magnificent views and receive a cooling breeze. Our room was spacious, clean, well-maintained and had plenty of storage. It had a big private balcony with quality outdoor furniture and all-weather bean-chairs. The only sound at night was the waves breaking on the distant reef, allowing a good night's sleep. The king bed was firm and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious, with an above-average shower and facilities. The air conditioning was quiet and efficient. An additional single bed for a daughter fitted in fine. The buffet breakfast was basic, but fresh. There was no egg station, so anything other than the basics had to be purchased from the kitchen. We ate many lunches and dinners in the resort's two restaurants. The food was excellent and the variety was good. The resort, it's gardens and grounds are beautifully maintained. We only used the swimming pool once, before we realised just how friendly the lagoon is. From that moment on, we spent all our daylight hours in or around the lagoon, snorkelling, swimming, kayaking, paddle-boarding and exploring. There are night food markets only 5 minutes walk away, where you can buy a variety of BBQ and street food on Tue, Wed and Thu nights. Everything we tried was delicious. There are other resorts, restaurants and cafes in walking distance, too. I cannot compliment the friendly and efficient service at PRR highly enough. By the time we left we felt like family and there were a few tears on departure...from both sides. The front desk staff, restaurant staff, housekeepers, water sports and kids-club staff were all equally amazing. No request was too much and every greeting included a welcome smile. Our thanks to the many PRR folk who made our holiday one to truly remember!

We loved our stay at Pacific Resort Rarotonga! 5/5, definitely recommend staying here. The resort grounds and gardens are designed beautifully and add to the private-ness feel of the resort. All the staff are beautiful, friendly and extremely accommodating - especially the dining staff. Rooms were spacious, clean and tick all the boxes. Menu at Barefoot Bar is diverse, most diverse menu we could find on the island. Some of our favs were the Niçoise salad and Kids steak and fries. Beach chairs are comfortable and you have prime position of the lagoon if you stay at Pacific Resort - water is crystal clear and sand is extremely soft. Location wise there are a few cafes and convenience stores within walking distance from the resort. Thank you Pacific Resort for making our Cook Islands holiday well worth it, we will definitely be back!
