We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of 12 days on Rarotonga.
The room was very clean well seviced and the bed comfortable. The pool area was a great area to relax by but the beach side even better!

Our 10 day trip was everything we could have hoped for. The beachfront room had a fantastic view of the lagoon and it was spacious and comfortable. The staff were absolutely fabulous and the day started with Rowena who was always cheerful and helpful at...More
The resort is complete with all features of vacation living, yet simple and perfectly positioned. But the friendly and accommodating staff are its greatest asset. Thankyou all for making us feel loved.
My husband and I recently returned from our holiday in Rarotonga. We stayed 6 nights at MBCH and were most impressed by the friendly staff and the excellent location of the hotel. We were greeted at reception on arrival with a complementary fruit juice each...More
For us, it was a choice between Muri Beach Club, Pacific Resort and the Rarotongan. We decided upon MBCH because it was adults-only and didn’t cost an arm or a leg (see the Polynesian and its ilk). The bonus with MBCH is its location -...More

Feeling safe is very important to me too. I felt very safe here. The hotel is near restaurants and shops. not shops as we know them. They are generally uncommercialised and low key. There is a rather good Mexican restaurant just at the top of the road 2 mins walk. The only thing I would say is the roads are poorly lit so you have to be careful walking in the dark. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and would love to go back. Hope this helps. GD
Our garden view look out to the pool with a glass partition to block any noise. We were on the ground floor. Perhaps a better view from second floor, but all are good. This is a very nice property. Small and friendly!

The restaurant and the bar are definitely not exclusive to the Hotel's guests. Visitors from other hotels appear to be welcome. The beach is public and the restaurant has tables on the sand which a visitor can walk to. People, including some families with children, occasionally use the beach in front of the hotel.
However the paddleboards, kayaks and the sailboat are only for hotel guests. There are some twin-hull paddle craft that can be rented, but that is provided by an independent vendor and Muri Beach guests must also pay to rent these.
I don't know that the pool, which is located in the courtyard surrounded by hotel buildings, would be available to non-guests.
