Lovely place, calm, relax, views to die for specially on sunset; definitely need to improve customer service, there were no fish!!! Kindly offer us to go search in town but they should have fishes on freezers, prices are ok, there are cabins to stay and great rates with or without a/c; the beach itself is what counts, great for surfing,... If you like moldy overpriced rooms with no service you will feel comfortable at this place. We just stayed one night at olazul and this was a nightmare. This is a big joke that they call themselves a hotel.

Enjoy the beachfront cafe all day long while horses wander the beach. There are plenty of local surf schools if you want to enjoy the waves. Olazul is great for families and for a relaxing and leisurely meal. The staff here is friendly and welcoming. Guillermo, one of the owner's, is absolutely wonderful and a wealth of historical knowledge about... More

This was a nice family run establishment, clean and relaxing and great value for the price. The owners and staff were very friendly. The food was great and the owners paid attention to detail. The pool was clean and a nice option because the ocean was very powerful during our stay so it was difficult to swim in the ocean.... More

We went for lunch and not only was the service terrible but the food was also lousy and took forever!! We had plans to spend the night there but of course decided to look for a better option! Hope they can get their act together soon. Oh! and don´t even think about asking for their wifi password!

First of all, hotels in Nicaragua are not like the Sheraton or Marriott, so if you're looking for that, choose another destination. Our family has fallen in love with this country and have yet to come upon a place we wouldn't visit again. We have visited Nica three times, bringing along our pre-teen son each time. We research where to... More

Great location only 15 minutes from Leon and right on uncrowed beach. Good waves for beginner surfers .Rooms were fine and very clean. Staff was nice and helpful. We had a very delicious dinner, breakfast was ok. I wish they rented surf boards like some of other hotels do. For 50 USD with AC can't complain. It has wifi but... More

If you want upscale, clean and new, or if you want to be in the thick of the action, this is not for you. if you just want to be away from the crowds, don't care if the shower and room are slightly falling apart, and just want a quiet hideaway near the ocean, then this place is fine. We... More

The food is one of the best in Las Penitas. i would go to their restaurant. My Family will never stay there again!!! This is really not a Hotel. Its more like a Hostel. There is a total of 3 Cabins with air and 3 rooms that are awful! There is really no reason for the windows in the rooms... More

You will have your feet on the beach and they will be welcoming at the beginning. You will pay 50 USD for one cuarto, but you won't have any towel. Rooms are not done, that is fine but the baskin is hound be changed once a day as a basic.. Breakfast is not included, usually it is. You can have... More
