Stayed here for a nearby wedding. Met briefly by the owner on arrival. The Granary was clean and homely and a lovely convenient place to stay. Enjoyed the very old characteristics of the building and the conveniently added shower downstairs.

I've travelled extensively but rarely come across a B&B as good as this. Location was excellent and central for all the must-see attractions. The accommodation was spotless and the breakfasts delicious. I couldn't fault it.

My third visit to The Granary, this time with my daughter. Garden room as usual, watching the variety of birds and feeding the friendly chickens on the patio (not to mention feeding carrots to the horses and cuddling the sheep - Gemma had a great time!) A quiet and peaceful location yet so handy for Alnwick castle and Garden, Bamburgh...

After five visits to the wonderful Granary, we still can't fault it. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The house is just wonderful food always delicious of the best quality. We always have the Garden room, on the ground floor, and it is lovely, with your own little sitting room which opens out onto the garden. The attention to detail...

Wonderful New Year stay, yet again. Just what was needed, perfectly timed welcome by the log fire, provided by our perfect hosts Andrea and Gary. Can never fault The Granary and the fantastic service and food. Every detail thought of, that's why we keep returning. Shona and Rob

We have throughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Granary B&B! Our room (I say room but it doesn't seem to do it justice) was beautiful! Spacious, light and very clean with everything we could possibly want to hand. Breakfast was delish! Again we had everything we could possibly want and if we didn't Andrea was super helpful and...

My wife and I stayed at The Granary for 2 nights in late September 2015 - wish it had been longer. Whilst we have stayed in Northumberland many times, as we love the coast, this was our first visit to The Granary. Our wing of the house (sorry, "room" does not do it justice) was superb, in terms of space,...

We found The Granary after searching for a top quality B&B on the internet. The Granary is situated in a superb location in Northumberland, just off the A1 but immediately in the countryside with wonderful views. We very much enjoyed our stay in the Garden Room, with its own entrance and parking place, the free range hens kept us entertained...

Beautiful restoration job on old farm buildings, The Granary is really light and airy with spectacular views. Very comfortable and Andrea couldn't do enough to help make our stay memorable. Ideal location as within easy reach of Seahouses, Bamburgh, Holy Island etc. We loved it and will be going back.
