Mpelleiko is a beautiful remodeled traditional house, now a bed and breakfast run by Nenah, whose mother owns the house. Perched atop the village of Stemnitsa ( about a 5 minute walk down slightly steep steps to the village center), Mpelleiko is ideally suited for exploring the Louisos Gorge or other area villages. There are two tavernas in the village...

This guesthouse has everything you need: great comfortable rooms, perfect location on top of Stemitsa village with gorgeous views, amazing breakfast with local products, and last but not least a fabulous welcome from host Nena. She was so helpful in giving us recommendations for hiking in the area. Would highly recommend this guesthouse!

My wife and i recently visited Mpelleiko for a relaxed weekend and we feel truly blessed for our choice. From the moment we arrived Nena, the owner of the guesthouse made us feel like home with her kindness and the willingness. The guesthouse consists of 5 beautiful, traditionally decorated rooms (four of them with fireplace) with the most comfortably beds...

Strongly recommended! Beautiful area, beautiful house (spotless), felt like home! We enjoyed our stay at Mpelleiko thanks to Nena who is the owner, the cook, the best travel advisor for the area and a lovely person! A lovely house easily accessible, comfortable rooms with a view, fire place, heating and much more. And..... no worries with Nena around!!

Needing some fresh air we chose to go to Stemnitsa - a village that is very pretty set into the mountains . Mpelleilo is run by Nena who inherited the house through her family and loves it. Knowledgeable she wants everyone to enjoy being in this house in comfort with fires and good food for breakfast. Perfect for a short...

We spent a weekend at Mpelleiko and enjoyed the great hospitality. Lena, the owner will make you feel at home and makes a delicious breakfast. The pictures on their site really cannot convey the warm and cosy feeling of the rooms. A beautiful guesthouse in a beautiful mountain village. Perfect for a getwaway to switch off and relax. Can't speak about how much we enjoyed our short stay here. This was possibly one of our best stops along our Greek journey. Lena was awesome at giving tips and making us feel truly welcome. I enjoyed our conversations about politics, and was great at allowing me to ask many questions that I had, which I truly treasure. The breakfast...

Locaties in a quiet street in a quiet village in a quiet region, this is a place for rest-seekers! Nice breakfast with home-mades. Visit the monasteries in the Lousiosgorge. You will not be disappointed when you stay here.

Lena provides a warm welcome and does everything she can to make you welcome. She met us in town and showed us the way to the house and then made us tea and gave us a snack. She makes you feel like you are a guest in her house rather than a hotel. Lena's breakfasts are so nice with home...
