We are recent converts to the Chalet Hotel style of living, used to go with Crystal but since their departure from Chalet hotel catering, we have move to Inghams, having been to Kuhtai and now Champoluc. Have to say that we are really impressed with...More
This hotel is the closest one in Champoluc to the ski lift, so is in the best possible location and is also right next to the slope that returns to the town. True ski in/ski out. Other reviews have commented adversely about noise from the...More
Just had a wonderful week skiing in Champoluc, staying in the Hotel de Champoluc, run this ski season by British Inghams staff.

It’s all about location........ perfect for a ski trip. Right by the Crest gondola which takes you up to first stage for schools and skiing. Hire shops are right here too, along with bars and shops.

I'd say it would. If you want village level flat walking there's a nice riverside walk round the village, or a snow covered walk through the trees up to the next village frachey, about a mile each way. There's also a local bus which can take you further down the valley for more variety.
For more extensive walking up on the slopes, it's possible to take the gondola and follow various routes. If you google Love Valle De Aosta website and have a look, there will be a map showing all the walking routes in the area.
In addition, there's a new recently opened wellness centre with various swimming pools, spa pools, saunas etc for a change from skiing, it's called Monterosaterme, lots of info on their website.
