My husband and I stayed with Jim and Judy for three nights on a short trip from the states to celebrate our 15th anniversary. We closed out their season in late October. They were wonderfully warm, welcoming and accommodating. The house is cozy and unfussy, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom tiny but very functional. Very close to...

Stayed here last Saturday for one night, arrived late, around 8pm but had rang ahead and it was no problem with the owners. Got big friendly welcome from Judy on arrival. Room was comfortable and clean, plenty hot water for showers. Breakfast was lovely and was accompanied by a lovely homemade potato bread which was a lovely gesture by Jim....

We have stayed at Brakken multiple times. The room is inviting. The water is always hot,the bedding is warm and comfortable, the bathroom is clean. The dining room was newly re decorated and it is a warm and relaxing spot start your day. Jim and Judy are wonderful host and hostess. I cannot say enough good things about Brakken.

Fantastic Breakfast & Fantastic Hosts. An abundance of activities in the surrounding areas including, walking/hiking, running events, horse riding and fishing to name a few! We've done them all and having stayed there a few times now. But keep going back for more. It's a home from home coming from the UK. The house is quirky traditional with a proper...

I booked the first two nights of my Ireland vacation here, as it's a short drive from Dublin and very near Glendalough. What a lovely B&B! This was my first experience with staying in B&B's and I had no idea what to expect! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, as were their two beautiful yellow labs. My room was...

I found the photos don't do this b & b justice for me- having had a few bad experiences in the past. It was a lovely clean bedroom, comfortable bed, a nice guest sitting room and breakfast room. The owner was so warm and friendly, and the house is situated in a beautiful part the Wicklow hills. Would have liked...

Very comfortable and clean B&B just outside the village of Laragh. Our hosts Jim and Judy were probably the nicest B&B owners we stayed with in Ireland. Made dinner reservations for us and arranged for the restaurant shuttle to pick us up. Breakfast was good. If you are looking for a warm and comfortable home while in the Wicklow Mountains,...

Stayed for 2 nights across August bank holiday. A warm welcome on arrival, plenty of space to park the car off the road, lovely breakfast at a time to suit, tea and coffee available around the clock, reliable wi-fi. Great recommendations for local food from the owners too, who are on hand for anything you need. Just a short drive...
